Bitcoin was supposed to be just ecash to deal with trust issues. Then it turned into a movement and almost into a religion.

History repeats itself. Nothing new. Just digital this time around, with math - no need for capricious gods or fallible prophets.

Satoshi did the right thing and walked away. Technical genius as he was, I wonder if he was a religious genius, as well. He decided to have no part in the inevitable religious turning. For that insight, I thank him even more.
