In an earlier post on Truth Social, President Donald J. Trump praised the Iranian government’s decision to cancel the execution of more than 800 protesters that had been scheduled for Thursday. He wrote, “I greatly respect the fact that all scheduled hangings, which were to take place yesterday (over 800 of them), have been cancelled by the leadership of Iran. Thank you!”
