One of Bangkok’s best parks, full with nature and wildlife perfect for walking, running, or cycling. Rent a waterbike if you’re brave enough to spot a water monitor lizard! (Don’t worry, they’re more scared of us humans and stick to the small lakes around the main one.) You’ll love seeing the diverse wildlife: monitor lizards, countless bird species, squirrels, and turtles.
What sets this park apart are its themed garden sections, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, and more plus a fascinating medicinal plants garden that shares cool knowledge right in the open.
Funny note: Entry costs just 10 Baht from 9 AM to 5 PM (the hottest hours), but it’s free before 9 AM and after 5 PM exactly when you want to visit to beat the heat. The only park in Bangkok I know with entrance fee.
