In a 7–4 decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruled that the majority of President Trump’s global tariffs, imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, are unlawful for exceeding presidential authority.
The tariffs will, however, remain in place while litigation continues.
