U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has issued a Notice of Intent to negotiate and award a noncompetitive purchase order for licenses to two systems developed by Bi² Technologies: the Inmate Recognition and Identification System (I.R.I.S.) and the Mobile Offender Recognition and Information System (MORIS). These systems will enable ICE to perform real-time identity verification nationwide and maintain a biometric database for millions of immigrants and U.S. citizens.
