0. Maybe a developer forum containing all github isssues and a way to zap-vote-rank them there, for the nerds.
1. And in each new update notification in the app the two most ranked are shown in the app for all amethyst users to vote-rank when donating.
A two level system might help lower the overwhelming feeling for non-techies.

I just think the next step is clients marketing themselves, not nostr. Just saying nostr doesn't really inform anyone of where to go.
From the users point of view they are looking for a new client, not a protocol. Although in nostrs case each new client user is equally a new protocol user :)

I think its also important to note the human aspect of it all. The saying: "You can only keep a secret between two people, and even the one is safer."
Is true even here. So the larger the group the easier it is to sneak in as a third party eavesdropper.
Even with best security encryption the screenshot leakage will increase per person in the group as well.

High level mathematics is spiritual enough to feel like meditation itself.
Pure natural sciences never touch moral questions and hardly ever any spiritual questions. So I don't see the deep need some do, to have one disaproove the other when it comes to the Religion vs Science.
The moral/spiritual teachings of Jesus or the Buddha are just as useful to the right person no matter how well we understand the intricacies of Classicsl Termodynamics or Quantum Physics, etc.
One is a story based framework: Religion. The other a falsifiable facts framework: Science.
Both serving orthogonally different purposes. Stories are used to convey meaning; like attempts to express meaning in between what words are capable of. Just like the Real number system fills in the gaps of the Rational numbers system.
The falsifiable facts framework of science, are mostly about modelling in words and formulas what we observe through experiments. To then later be able to use that in engineering applications. Very handy! Very powerful! But hardly what comforts you when a loved one passes away or that solves for your lost identity in times of crisis.
Something that stories can help us with. To bring us new meaning to what we see and experience and save us in moments of dread.

Currently most #nostr clients use multiple relays for redundancy purposes.
It is however the case that relays decide what kinds of content they wamt to store. So in a future we might need to adapt clients in some way so that the author may easier pick what notes ought to be pushed to what relays. Maybe by having different feeds they post to that habe different relay sets attached to them.
For example, say that a university starts to run a relay for their academics. Then maybe they have some code of conduct for that relay that they'll only store academically related content.
A connected person might then want to be able to cross post all their academics there but their Tropic Thunder memes exclusively on other relays.
I don't know how to do this yet, but it's food for further thought among #nostrdevs

Potentially yes. The current use is very simple and robust, which has its benefits.
But maybe a nostr-clustr account could for instance solve the problem of keyrotation. Not on the base layer, but on a nostr2.0 layer.

Better tools for organizing events is needed. Facebook events as I remember them is a great tool, but it's excluding people without an FB account so it's really weak when organizing public events or events with people who don't have Mark Zuckerberg in their pockets.
I think an event specific #nostr client could be a game changer for communities and such to organize things :)

I would like to add to the discussion of note delete requests & relays.
We have a request-delete-event kind in nostr already. Why not also have the ability to create time limited notes?
Say, the ability to post a note with a "request deletion" timer set to 3 weeks or whatever. So that the relay knows that at this point in time the user is ok with the deletion of said note.
This might also help with the forever storage problem. Plus letting people post things they intend to only be relevant within a certain space of time. Like weater reports, time specific news, etc.

Follower count is not a reliable number on nostr, it fluctuate depending on what relays are running or have downtime. Sharing npub in a trusted and using NIP-05 domain verification is way more reliable. (NIP-05 is however in most cases KYCd, so not anonymous.)
What I'm thinking of is similar to private lists on Twitter. Letting people subscribe to content without publicly sharing their connection to it.
As a complement to the legacy follow system. But a privacy focused client might consider using private lists as default. To counter social graph analysis by malicious actors*.
*Say maybe a paranoid government that want to track down the social connections among those who have been talking sh%t about the dear status quo.

Yea it's a big thing to be aware of. Nostr counters online censorship and can with high potential circumvent it.
But... evil governments can still knock on your door for things said here and apply their immoral laws if they track you down.
In the case of the UK, I seriously think the US should announce a travel warning for going there. They have their 2003 Communications act which makes it an offense to send public messages of a “grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character,” [1]. It's basically risky business visiting for Americans because they can have done legal tweeting at home that risks them a fine or jail when on a visit in the UK.
Something to be vary of in both leisure and business travel to that place.

That is not always the case. Many times clients just create a new note with an #nevent1q…1qqs... reference, meaning the quoted reply note can survive whatever its replying to.
You see this in action when you see a note with a quote reply and it's content is: "This note is not available on any of your relays"

Speaking of search. Datsmining companies like google might run relays in the future. Just as they held back the development of video platforms, mail clients, map setvices, through sponsoring their own "free to use" products with revenue from google ads.
A common good. But it made it very difficult to compete with, since hosting of such services are expensive. And difficult when competing with: "free to use"

For using rust libraries in Flutter, I can recommend using the rinf package. Just search github.
It uses ProtoBuffers to forward data between the Dart Flutter frontend and the Rust backend.

ReactNative is industry standard but runs on JavaScript.
Flutter is faster but runs on Dart.
Both are mature and have lots of packages and such to integrate with the Native api even cross platform.

Altough it's very practical for calculating networks LinkedIn style when all follow lists are public, it also keeps the social graph of users out in the open.
Not that it have to matter, but it can matter. It certainly is a privacy concern to some degree.
I think we ought to consider integrating private follower lists into our nostr clients. Maybe one would like to keep real life friends on a private contact list, rather than exposing all that data to datamining and similar uses.
If people remember the OxfordAnalytica scandal that facebook got their hands in. That's something that's doable on nostr without even having to ask nostr-hq for premision.
Maybe the more people use nostr, the more it would be a good thing if we had tools concealed the social graph as much as people would like to do so. Today, that's hardly an option on most clients.

The problem isn't the bitcoin talk itself. The problem is that no client as of yet has been good enough to segment content accoridng to users intersts enough.
Someone interested in gardening content, would see anything else as spam.

Note that #nostr can be used from multiple programs and clients, that are different. Making it important to specify the name of the app you request a feature for or asks for help with. :)
Because we are all watching the same nostr void from different devices, programs and apps xD
It's a bit different from traditional social media where a company monopolizes the content to one single app of theirs.

Sadly many of their scam livestreams are from hijacked yt-channels. So behind many of those scams is also an honest youtuber emotionally devastated over seeing all their work gone.
They (the scammers) steal the login cookies.

Browser clients easily forget read messsges when you clear your cookies. So even if sticking to one, it could occur.

Most things that i use on nostr works neatly. This isn't the case for nostr DMs, I think that part of the system is subpar.
The privacy level is random across clients. And message notifications can't be synced across devices either, so you'll always see year old unreads on new logons etc.
It just isn't neat.

Currently, According to #nostrband stats active daily (trusted) users on #nostr is about 16k. And about 40k active users per month.
And according to some random article I read xTwitter got 200 million active users daily.
Somehow I still get more interactions on nostr than on X, haha. The math ain't mathing or... The classic algorithm approach silos plebs away from each other and towards the royalties of said platforms. It feels i get more casual interactions out of nostr, that don't even have such an algorithm at hand.
