Lately it seems more and more movies and TV shows I watch have a character who breaks the Fourth Wall. Am I wrong?
I find it incredibly annoying.
And I'm not talking about movies or shows where the character is known for this, like Deadpool or She Hulk.
I also often see an introduction where the character builds the background narrative, almost as if the average viewer is no longer able to immerse themselves and understand the relational dynamics as they get deeper into the story, but needs to be prepared.
Is it me?
Is it a problem with the writers?
Or is there a study behind it by the streaming services to capture the viewer's attention as quickly as possible?

Nostr is not a scalable alternative to X and other centralized social media platforms, but can be useful as a censorship resistant tool, even for emergency situations.
X could easily create a relay to re-broadcast tweets to Nostr (tweets from users with a npub linked to their profile) and good luck govs that wants to ban https.

I have to temporary stop new user registration on my BTCpay server. It has more of 200 users and lately the database is having a hard time. I'm investigating if that's the problem, or if those shitty inscriptions are, and trying to understand if increasing the resources can help, but this will cost.

A curiosity about Bitcoin you might not know.
If you are at the last block of the current Epoch and look behind, the subsidy per block equals the percentage of the total supply mined during that Epoch and the percentage of total supply that still need to be mined.
Example:
we are at Epoch 4, the subsidy is 6.25 BTC per block.
At block 840,000 we'll start a new Epoch with a new halving.
The total bitcoin mined during Epoch 4 will be 6.25% of the total supply, and an additional 6.25% will remain to be mined.

A curiosity about Ethereum and Bitcoin that not many people know about.
By default, Ethereum does not have a checksum in its addresses.
What does this mean?
Try entering this address into your wallet:
0x5f927395213ee6b95de97bddcb1b2b1c0f16844f
Now enter the address 0x5f927395213ee6b95de97bddbc1b2b1c0f16844f
Your wallet will consider both addresses valid.
However, if you look closely, the second address has two letters switched.
Assuming the first address is yours, if someone sends funds to the second address, they obviously wouldn't reach your wallet.
To address this problem, the Checksum was introduced as an extra solution.
To generate a checksum, the Ethereum address is first converted into a lowercase and uppercase version. Then, the checksum is calculated by hashing the address and comparing it to the lowercase and uppercase version. If the hashed address matches the lowercase or uppercase version, the checksum is considered valid.
Therefore,
0x5f927395213ee6b95de97bddcb1b2b1c0f16844f becomes 0x5F927395213ee6b95dE97bDdCb1b2B1C0F16844F and if you try to invert some letters, the new address will be considered invalid, provided your wallet supports checksum!
In Bitcoin, this does not happen: there is no extra solution applied.
The reason is simple: addresses are already generated with a checksum.
So, if we take a random address 1L7s77cV9hCAGPXo2SNmLmQ3FaPstYJVcT and switch two letters, obtaining 1L7s77cV9hCAGPXo2SNmLmQ3FaPtsYJVcT, if we scan the address, our wallet will show us an error (invalid address).

mempool.space is just another node, so estimates are not more accurate then yours, if you run a node and do not apply filters.
Mine were already probably off, since I don't drop transactions: when mempool.space shows a network congestion and transactions < n sat/vbyte are dropped by their mempool, my node keeps and relays them.

But I don't care because I use always 1 sat/vbyte for onchain transactions.
What is more interesting is to know if forced closure of LN channels will have the correct estimates or if this is not an issue at all because they are not affected.
By the way, I'm also wondering if Ordinals/Inscriptions are affecting them.

Just to clarify my previous request of tips:
the test is due to a problem with LN Address from BTCpay and some Nostr clients, unable to get the invoice from LUD16.
The issue was probably on BTCpay side and it should be fixed, but Damus gave no issues even before, so please don't try from Damus.
Astral and Snort had difficulties with the LN Address.
If you can try to send me 1 sat (no more) using Astral or Snort and tell me here in the comments if it works or give you some errors, I appreciate!
