When I was 19 I took my first ride around America. It was my first time in the South. I saw a handful of wooden boards nailed to trees hand painted "REPENT or DIE".
I laughed at those signs. Poor backwards hillbillies and their hateful superstitions.
Youth is wasted on the young.
Here I am, 46, sitting in the Ozarks praying for strength, the strength to repent. I want to live, to live a life of repentance.
