I did this for a while
had an asterisk server set up with a ds1 split 12 fsx/12 fso channel bank, an aix trunk that could call washington dc-metro, brussels,belgum, zurich,ch toll free (and immd local of course)

I've also now pretty much lived past my use-by date

I've got things to do today
&
taking care of today sometimes is what I've got.
So, I try to work with that.

They are mostly unable to regulate co2, heat stress, sunlight, etc
they migrate by casting their fate in seeds, and we screw with even that. & that takes a long time.
