Yeah, a little tone deaf I'd say. Especially with all of the posts that are like 'here is now (insert product that has nothing to do with ours) hurts your privacy'.
I get that Tuta also wants to advertise on TikTok, but to actively promote it as a place where you can read more on some meme is weird.

Oh cool, I wasn't aware of Iode. I've been running /e/ for awhile now and I can't say I like their default launcher. If you like the Apple experience, your experience may differ though.
Other than that, it seems comparable. Both use Magic Earth as navigation, though Iode seems to have a nicer keyboard out of the gate.

so the 'standard' emoji color is white, or yellow? One seems more sus than the other.
Specifications are interesting in that way, because at some point, things need to be made formal. But is is not wise to imply standards that way.
Related, wasn't there a thing with UTF-8 where a set of symbols was reused 'because they looked the same' while having vastly different meanings in the languages they originated from?
