I was at a law enforcement conference yesterday for investigators combatting human sex trafficking. We met a victim like this who was abused by an officer to whom she had gone for help. What an incredibly brave person she was to stand in a room full of cops and talk about her experience and ways police can recognize and help a trafficked person. This story is important. The videos I have seen are sub-par.
