I feel this trick is used in many different domains. It is precisely the same technique used by #bigtech to offer people products and services that are too difficult to ignore because they make life so much more "convenient" but are actually a trojan horse made to ensnare us all.
The most complicated part of this, in my opinion, is being able to communicate this dynamic to "normies" that are simply looking for easy solutions to different aspects of their lives.

just to add a quick comment. An "economy" that spills billions of dollars into a few hands is not a functioning system.
If your car continuously leaked massive amounts of oil, and therefore didn't circulate it properly, you'd be right in concluding that it is broken, or at the very least, it needs some serious calibration.
How is this rocket science to modern "economists"?

This may be a dumb question, but I'm still looking for ways to use #blender as an #adobe #aftereffects replacement, however I'm always frustrated with how overly complicated it is to do things like keyframing the opacity, as you'd do for 2.5 animation of text and images.
Also quick, viewport masking of image planes without the complication of going into the compositor.
Is anyone aware of any addons that could do this?

not to rain on anyone's parade, but imagine if we could have governments simply ban the offending materials that simply go directly to landfill and instead use technology that already exists that is biodegradable? We have it, but it probably costs 1 cent more per unit so it won't be used unless we actual force them to do it. Any additional cost will predictably be passed on to the consumer.

Since #Mastodon or the #fediverse in general doesn't use #algorithms like the evilcorps the only way subjects/posts can be followed effectively are through the use of #hashtags
So if I want to follow #knitting for example, do a search for that hashtag and follow ... now everytime some posts using that you will see it in your timeline.
This is where it is super important for you as the poster to remember to use many #s
