But migration has been a problem for years, why these riots now? Yes the incident in Southport was horrific. But what about the July 2005 bombings? Why no riots then?
Some of the recent narrative has understandably been “well if I can’t afford housing and food why are these asylum seekers getting it?” Well things used to be more affordable previously.

Good question. Take the new UK prime minister Keir Starmer. I didn’t vote for him but he’s clearly a serious man. So I think a fair amount of what he says can be respected, however I’m under no illusion that politicians are largely powerless in the bigger broken system.

Whilst I’m undoubtedly keen for Bitcoin to do well, I wouldn’t say that I’m hoping or looking forward to some kind of anarchy. It’s probably wishful thinking for there to be a smooth transition from old world to new so the idea of hyper “Bitcoinisation” fills me with slight dread as that would probably bring with it a whole series of serious societal breakdown issues.
