Last Notes npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1cm7…32y8 I'm a bit scared of changing things as the system has no issue on the previous kernel. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1l3g…vu48 I'm using Rofi with XFCE. Best launcher I've used so far. Love the single file customisation. Using it for window switching too. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1sh4…32nx Ooh sea pickles! npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1sua…szrk Time to sand down the whole case and repaint! npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: OK, my house is now pretty much just using electricity, bar the boiler. How do I get my housing association to allow me to set up a full sized windmill in my garden? npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: Huh, interesting. My NAS is running on a 64bit Raspberry Pi5, but because I simply switched in an SD card from a 32bit Pi 3 it's confused. Its system reports it's running 64 bit when actually the installed software is 32 bit. Need to keep this in mind when installing new software. Would be a HUGE pain to reinstall the OS, so I'll let it have bit dysphoria for now. This is why #betula wasn't compiling properly with GCC. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: Found a couple of Nat King Cole #vinyls to start my collection. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1sua…szrk What does your caps lock key say?! npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: Raspberry Pi is now on the stock exchange... Hope they target a lower price with their next Pi release, but I doubt it. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: I don't even want Android, moving to a larger walled garden is not in my slightest interest. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1l3g…vu48 He does loads of these, lots of odd people on the internet. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1l3g…vu48 You can click and drag from the rulers on the edge to create lines, align these to the centre of the image, then crop as needed. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: Royal Mail delivered my new Pi on a Sunday! npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1jc6…7v67 There's something with the current #xfce hashtag feed that crashes phanpy dev. https://fosstodon.org/tags/xfce https://cdn.fosstodon.org/media_attachments/files/112/455/549/644/419/739/original/1124bbd0f3a61b73.mp4 npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1sua…szrk Depends on what you define as "Half of the internet" I'm guessing there are thousands if not millions of small servers down right now. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: On the #Linux #Terminal, is there a way to list all #systemctl issues? For example, show the number of and which #services have issues, the same way `cockpit` does in the web interface? npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: Caught a squirrel on my garden camera! #wildlife https://cdn.fosstodon.org/media_attachments/files/112/338/747/525/366/243/original/4799c5a6d34724a5.mp4 npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1p45…89jz Could you provide an example using all 259 options? npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1l3g…vu48 It has a few advantages over bash. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub15lr…p2vs https://stackoverflow.com/questions/30683657/use-windows-95-font-on-webpage - Found this, works great! npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: Anyone know what happened to the #LineageOS builds last week? Are new builds being produced now? I can't find the server that runs the official builds, on the old website they linked to the server so you could see the build queue. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub15lr…p2vs It's for lightdm-webkit. XFCE comes with lightdm-gtk and the only other version Debian packages is slick-greeter. Neither work. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub188q…3jlx It lacks Debian Unstable, which is different from testing. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1xuw…xhq5 I think I'm going to setup zram again, didn't think I'd need it with 16GB. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1l3g…vu48 Just see it through, all medication takes time to settle in the system. I'd be easy on yourself over the next month. Make sure to take all meds at the same time each day. Good luck! ADHD medication has always been fascinating to me, used to look after a child in school who had ADHD as one of their diagnoses and the medication completely calmed them. Another child was misdiagnosed and became incredibly hyper. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1jc6…7v67 Multi line code snippets when? ``` if [ $(type flatpak 2>/dev/null | grep -c "is /") -eq 1 ]; echo -e \n$TITLE"Cleaning and updating Flatpak..."\n$RESET flatpak uninstall --unused flatpak update end ``` npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub129g…4kwg ``` ~► ./rust 0.104s 13:27:40 Ok(16) ``` npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1yge…gg7y I am holding off on updating as it removes minigalaxy, mpv, surf, gparted, font-manager and all bluetooth packages. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1zpu…qh6x That's horrific, but I'm sure businesses will like this. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1l3g…vu48 OK, now that's a good find! Even had optional swipe gestures. May be perfect for me. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1xzm…eykm Nice job! Looks clean! Highlights and shadows next? npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1eqg…fncn Why use boxshadow? regular underline options have become quite powerful. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1sua…szrk It's an awesome game. My obsessiveness unfortunately ruined it for me, I struggle to play games that I can't 100%. Things can get hard! npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1llz…08cq When the next generation USB type comes out with more ability, but not compatible with USB-C will manufacturers be able to use it? npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1vvu…pj6u Using a mouse with no cables to point and select items displayed on a screen thinner than my finger. While receiving information almost instantly from the other side of the world. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1zpu…qh6x Just spent the day merging my .local/themes, .themes, /usr/local/themes and the same for icons. There are a lot of duplicate use directories. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1zpu…qh6x Doesn't conform to any of your desktop standards, settings are buggy, animations are buggy. Uses an old version of libssl. It has some good ideas, but I prefer my apps to use my system settings for the UI elements. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1zpu…qh6x There needs to be more support and understanding for those with special needs. He could do wonders for society if dealt with appropriately rather than being locked away indefinitely. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1zpu…qh6x Hah, I had an issue where a subscribed Google Calendar was locked and unsubscribing to them didn't do anything. Took being a Google One member to talk to someone, who was then able to talk to someone else to get this fixed. npub12te0qnkgtnpxty25xl0x4k790jta94pkxhxg54zj8z4gnkhg4p6qttdzzl Tom :debian: @npub1jc6…7v67 Is alt text supposed to match background color?
