TBH, this is frequently in problem in the world of open source: a proprietary product has lots of dark patterns and anti-UX features with some nasty purpose.
Then some open source implementation is made, and in order to be familiar for users of the proprietary tool, they copy a lot of their UX, unintentionally copying the same dark patterns.

Operating systems like iOS and Android are designed as media consumption devices (e.g.: for watching TikTok or Instagram). They are barely usable as a general purpose computer.
Several libre mobile operating systems aspire to imitate iOS and Android. With good intent: so that user familiar with these are familiar with the new libre OS.
The downside is that these new libre platforms are not well-designed mobile computer operating systems; they're mostly imitations of media consumption devices.

Five servers getting lost in the mail is incredible. I can't imagine having to deal with this right after the attack and emergency migration.

What do you plan to use in place of Celery? Just Redis and Golang?

Hoorn and Enkhuizen are within thirty minutes and an hour of Amsterdam respectively (despite actually being a far away, the train is pretty fast).
I heard a few folks say that buying with a mortgage is easier than renting in this country and I have to say they weren't kidding. And your mortgage might even be lower than rent.

rss2email and rss-email will send you an email for each new RSS entry. If you keep your email in sync across devices, then the messages from RSS feeds will also sync their read/unread status. Plus, once you pull emails, feed items are available offline. I suggest using Sieve rules or something to avoid cluttering your INBOX.
