My small group of friends and family won't use Nostr or Deso or any other decentralized platform because it's too hard to keep it working for them. The user experience is not consistent and they don't want to deal with crypto at all for any reason.
Still - Nostr looks like the only viable network right now where free speech can actually remain.

It's not that I couldn't do it, but I shouldn't be doing it, right? And to top it off, there were several older people who applied and who were "hired." They were old enough to be seniors. The only reason they're looking for work is because they can't afford anything right now.
Had they known this was part of the job requirements or even as part of the physical they had to take, many of them would not have spent money they don't have to have gone to this location for a job to begin with, you know?
It's done those folks a real disservice.
I'm still nursing this shoulder. There's chores to do today, and I'd rather type all day then do the chores. :)

Part of my night is being spent on a picnic table near the shop.
The truck is in for repair and can't be slept in. It rained today, so this area smells like wet, moldy garbage. I feel like I need three showers, and I'm wondering how much sleep I'll get before we have to take our next load.
There was talk of a hotel room due the repairs needed.
It didn't happen.
My mentor is sleeping in her car. I don't have a bed of any kind set up for the van.
I'm still having trouble parking the trailer between two parked trucks like in a truck stop. I can back into store docks mostly fine without help.
I only have a few days left here. Maybe two.
I put most of my belongings back in the van in case we have to use another loaner truck tomorrow.
I'm pretty tired, and there's grease on this hijab too. My eyes feel swollen and itchy.

No, it's a Micron art pen size .005. They cost about $3 each and so far, this one has lasted. Almost any fine point pen fine. The generic workbook I'm using outside of this one has letters so big a regular cheap ballpoint pen works best on that one. The electronic PDF one-- well you can just load another copy and start tracing again with the tablet pen or stylus too.

I'm in my 4th week of driver training with my mentor. My body clock is so messed up, I'm not sure if I am supposed to try and go to sleep again or stay awake for the night.
She's such a good mentor, she won't tell me.
I'm supposed to figure it out on my own as our training time together winds down.
Earlier, we did five deliveries this trip and it involved a night, a foggy morning, a farm and now it's night again.
We are 90 miles from our final destination.
Tonight, she let me run my clock out with 10 minutes to spare to teach me a lesson.
She was right, and I won't risk that again.
She's a very good teacher, the Mr. Miagi of truck driving: quiet, unknown, unassuming, skilled, and powerful.
She deserves several articles and more.
I wish I had two brain cells left to run together to write them.

This is a traceable Quran. I found a version on Amazon. There's also a company called "Quran Trace" that offers a little bit nicer ones. I have a Quran tracing workbook (generic) that does smaller sections of it too. I brought one of those with me on the road. I also found a traceable Quran PDF for free floating around on the internet. I installed that on a tablet to trace electronically with a pointer or stylus.

The platform itself is amazing. The education for each business model (campus) is hyper focused and thorough. They don't allow people who don't make money to teach.
It's really one of the best places I've ever seen to learn business, work ethic, and discipline. The methods are always up-to-date.
The marketing and the promises are true on the surface, but it's the undercurrent of what's required to reach your monetary goals is pretty much brutal.
And the pace never lets up.
The amount of work required only increases and there's no true way of getting around it. You will eventually need a team, but you must be able to pay them. They also teach you to do all the work yourself FIRST so you understand what's truly involved to properly guide (or fire) the team.
The marketing messages on some things are very true on the surface and on other things, I think they were grand experiments.
For example, I want to say about 1 1/2-2 years ago, there was the promise of something called the TRW coin. For members, it was going to be an investment into The Real World university, the platform itself.
For what you're getting for the value, if you're paying for any kind of business school out of pocket -- this this the far better value. Education is incumbent upon all and for me, this is what I could get behind -- making this education more available. Hands down.
But most people cannot keep up the pace or do what's really required to be "successful" under their definitions.
For members, there was also supposed to be income attached to the TRW coin. A lot of income. I was a small fish compared to others and may not have received a very big piece or very many shares (coins), but it would have been enough to give me some financial breathing room, right?
But it still hasn't come.
Having worked for digital identity companies and blockchain companies, I understand what's involved to get a coin approved and through all the regulatory agencies, etc. So some of the delay for the first year or so was understandable.
During this time, some of the messaging inside the campuses started changing.
I know many people, especially some younger people today, do not have the attention span or retentions spans of anything greater than a gnat. So they may not remember or care about those changes, but I'm 49. I'm Generation X. I remember stuff.
When I first started, the marketing messages were "Show up for six months and your life can change completely!!!!"
About a year in, the messaging started changing to "There's no guarantee of when you'll get rich. Success takes as long as it takes."
And this last month (2 years in), "If you can't show up every day for 2 years, you'll never make it!!!"
Huh?
Looking back, I was doing the work of a team BEFORE I joined The Real World. I needed a team back then (I was so overworked, I couldn't see that back then). But I didn't have any money to pay a team, so that's a no go. So I kept pushing, and pushing, and pushing, and pushing, and pushing, and pushing, like they teach you.
And I started to hit a burnout wall like I did with my job previously, and I couldn't allow myself to run head first back into some of the health conditions that previous burn out (for years) has caused.
And I had been pushing for 2 years BEFORE I joined.
Here's what they tell you vs. what I believe:
Them: You that you are 100% responsible for your success.
Me: I'm responsible for turning to Allah and trusting Him completely at all times. My risq is written. I'm not working to earn my risq. I'm working to get myself aligned with the door it's standing behind.
Them: Failure is your fault.
Me: To a degree, that is very true. There is always MORE work I could have done, but could I have in reality? Not the way it is set up. Real life doesn't work like that. No matter which you slice it, it doesn't.
Them: You dictate how your life goes, not the other way around.
Me: When you have LOTS of cash coming in all the time (and most of these people have TEAMS to help them) it's easy to say that because you can throw $$$ at an issue and help it go away. Outside of this, there are things that you cannot control that you must deal with. That's not your failure; those are your obligations.
Part of the way through things, I noticed some of the methodologies changing.
I joined, in part, to learn about methodologies I couldn't find anywhere else on the internet for free. In one campus, I learned that you can do the methods they prescribe (and they do work up unto a certain point), but then if they don't work for you, the remedy is: "You must test what works for you in your market. Test DMs, cold emails, reach out more..."
Ok. I waited another 6-8 months and saw this messaging repeatedly.
Basically, here's the ACTUAL formula to your business success:
1. Improve yourself in every way possible: Physically lose weight, get into shape, stop doing bad habits. Learn to speak better. Read more. Educate yourself. Surround yourself with good people. Increase your skills (which they teach). You must always be working on each of these areas, almost daily.
2. Keep up with the work and assignments in the campuses. They are self-paced, however, the "implementation" tasks may take you 5 minutes or 30 days depending on what it is. If you slow down, now you're behind. Even if you catch up, it snowballs.
3. Do the methodologies as they teach.
Now here's what they DON'T come right out and tell you:
--- If it doesn't work:
1. Test and experiment with your banner, website, landing page copy, video editing, cold messages, the type of prospects you're targeting, etc. Test everything. (Do you know how LONG all of that takes with little-to-no results when you can't pinpoint exactly what's wrong?)
Basically: Keep guessing until you get it right. (That's what I was doing before I joined. Things came full circle.)
2. Maximize your output. Not getting enough clients? 10-100x your outreach. (Ok. It's a numbers game. Cool. If you've ever been self-employed before, you know this, but this was not the advice I was expecting to get on this issue since that's common knowledge in some circles.)
To do all of these things takes an extraordinary amount of time.
Extraordinary!
AI only helps you if you don't give two hair rat's behinds about quality. As a writer, I still must proofread and edit everything it produces and it clogged up me at that juncture. Creative decisions must still be made. If my name is on it, I want it to reflect accurately with the right tone, messaging, etc.
If you have a full-time job? If you don't sleep, you could make it work, but they teach you that you must keep up on your health.
My health won't let me continue to do mentally intensive anything at a balls-to-the-wall pace for another 2 full years, when I've already keep this pace for the last 4. (Full-time work + side hustle.)
Was it a complete waste of time?
No.
-I got better at negotiating.
-I got better at speaking to my value when it came to closing clients.
-I got better at making videos and finding a way to edit them in a way that works for me.
-I increased my stress tolerance to a point (but not enough to continue the brute for efforts this requires).
-I get way more done when I choose to than I ever have in my life.
-I got better at AI everything.
-In some situations, I can now "command a presence." I rarely use this new skill. For men, it's helpful. For women, it must be used strategically in business or it backfires.
-I've gotten much better at not allowing people to waste my time.
As a Muslim, I've come to need a more Allah-focused teaching and alignment when it comes to business.
This experience taught me what I needed to protect my energy, to learn deeply about risq and what is written in Islam. I wanted to line up what I was learning with what is OK with Allah or not and when and how to use these things.
Do I believe I am capable of more? Yes.
Could I have done more? Yes.
Do I accept responsibility for my failure? To a point.
Does any of this change the math behind monthly expenses, rent being due, being out of work, or the need to cut all expenses? No. And that means that the monthly cost for The Real World also had to also stop.
As for the TRW coin, if it ever arrives -- I know one of the promises Andrew made was that he would personally fund the coin with XX amount of millions each month so that the income for the students can keep flowing.
That's great.
What's not so great, is that over time, I've come to understand that there's a high chance that those personal funds may be coming from business ventures that are still in play (casinos?) and I wouldn't feel comfortable taking that income from a coin funded by that source. Now, that is PURELY MY OWN SPECULATION. I CANNOT SAY FOR SURE if that is true or not.
But I've been Muslim now for almost 3 years. Almost the same amount of time as Andrew. Since then, I've seen how I've grown and changed in Islam and how Andrew (at least on the outside) has not.
Andrew is smart enough (he is!) to have ended some of his obligations with some of his businesses (even if he had to run the contracts out to honor the contracts he has before becoming Muslim) but then NOT renew those business contracts and at the very least, not in the same capacity. Again, this is my speculation, but as a business-minded person and as a Muslim, this is how I would have handled some of those things. My gut instinct, my intuition based on some of the things I've seen lately, tell me that, this is not the case. But again, that is my own speculation.
My personal feeling is back away from it all at this time, especially since I cannot afford the expense right now.
There are multiple halal business models inside of The Real World. None of them are "Allah focused", but they are halal models. Surely, he could diversify in a more halal direction with is personal businesses (and maybe he is?).
I also did not appreciate speaking honestly inside the campuses regarding certain struggles with this workload, not being able to pay bills, etc., and have many (not all) of the people inside those chats basically just tell you what a lazy, POS you are. Seriously, I was well over that. I knew the marketing, the messaging, the "rah-rah" motivational messages, and the talking points (do more work, test, increase your outreach.)
My life does not line up with how they teach you to be monetarily successful. I tried to make it, but it didn't work. At some point, I had to stop beating my head against a wall and then mentally punishing myself for wanting to end the pain that that was causing me.
I do not speak for Andrew or The Real World in any official capacity. These statements are only my personal experiences and observations.
Allah is the source of all knowledge, including business models and He alone is the source of all open and closed doors when it comes to getting a person their risq. I am grateful to Allah and I am grateful He is allowing me to grow in Islam. That is the most important part of all of this.
Now, I get to look forward to the next phase of my life.

It's an online business education platform with a variety of business models to learn. It's primarily targeted at younger male adults but they allow teenagers in if they have their parent's permission. Women can and do join as well. There are several active women in the groups and campuses.
It's all very hyper focused on what works with making money in today's world, but it's not without its caveats. You can learn business and business models from the ground up with no experience and without learning all the other stuff a typical college degree might require of you.
But again, there's a bunch of "catches" and it's not all sunshine and roses. There's also no guarantee that you'll actually make money.

That's the plan moving forward.
It's all KYC here anyway to transact on a large scale basis, so there's no harm in doing so. They can know you have it, but they can't take your cold storage password.
And it's a great feeling to know that when you're sending peer-to-peer, you don't need the banks permission or approval to buy or send.
You don't need their approval to leave Bitcoin for your grandkids either.
Them: You can't have that.

For me, it's the unspoken requirement (expectation?) today that we produce endless amounts of content to be seen, heard, believed, or respected on top of having an internet presence to prove we exist.
Your expertise doesn't really exist today unless you have money, testimonials, and or endless content constantly talking about it (to "provide value.")
Today, a person's work or body of skills can't stand on its own any longer. We think it can! Then we unplug from the content machines on every platform and we are forgotten.
We chase people on every platform for their convenience. They don't want to follow to a new platform. So, we stay on every platform and adjust to the each algorithm's whims.
It didn't used to be this way.
I remember being free.
I want to live.
I want to connect.
I want to have my meaningful relationships in life.
I want to serve, but I don't to be a slave to any algorithm's expectations.
I want my work to stand on its own again.
I want to make my gifts and callings available and have it feel like a relaxing exhale rather than an all out endless battlecry running up to the top of a mountain, which by design, we won't actually reach.
If I have to a have a website, I want it to be one page. Like a flyer you affix to a telephone pole or bulletin board.
That's it.
No navigation. No menu. No blog.
It should say something like, "Here's Misty. Here's what she does and what she likes. You'll never reach her. She's out having adventures. Sometimes you'll find her at the mosque or the library. If you really want to have some fun, send her a handritten letter here: ..."
And that's it.
That's feels soooooooo much better.

It's something I cannot get enough of.
I write by hand when:
- Researching at the computer
- Detailing dates, times, locations, and odd observations in log books
- Creating "morning pages"
- Brainstorming
- I need to vent
- I'm thinking of missed loved ones and missed connections
- I trace the Arabic letters of the Quran
- Keeping key reminders during presentations
- Making a list of things I must do the next day
Writing by hand is your connection.
Without it, life begins to fall apart.

In theory, yes. I have my CDL-A now, so I'm qualified to drive an 18-wheeler and other large vehicles. I'm currently in the process of onboarding with a trucking company, however, I am not officially "hired" yet, so I'm not an employee.
This means I still do not have paying work.
If I get a paying technical writing job this week, I'm going to take it as it's going to pay 2-3x the amount of what trucking driving will pay me as a new truck driver.
But, that hasn't happened yet either.
The trucking company could also finish their hiring process in the next few days and I could be off with a mentor in a truck for 4-6 weeks for training too.
Everything is up in the air.
I have a tiny bit more investments I can cash in to help pay the bills, after that? I have to sell the van.
I even applied to drive the garbage trucks and they turned me down. LOL.
And I'm sitting here thinking about all my social media "stuff."
Once I start driving truck, if that happens, then I won't need all my websites or social media platforms. That's kind of a relief in some ways.
We'll see what happens.

Severe storms blew through last night. The alert on my phone said “severe” for flash flooding. A little while later, another alert ranked as “severe”. BASEBALL-SIZE HAIL was in all caps. In both cases there were no cautions to stay home but instead direct orders to take immediate cover. It’s rare they label these warnings as “severe” here.
Trying to fall asleep and looking at the sky, all I saw were flashes. Constant flashes. With the wind and the torrential downpour, my instincts spoke one word that I dread: tornado.
The last time the sky looked that way, my son and I were living in my van, parked at an RV park in the Florida Panhandle. We had the choice of staying in the van or fleeing to the little bunkhouse for “shelter.” It was mostly made of glass. With one bar of cell signal, my friends at the time were trying to tell me about its path. It was after midnight. You couldn’t see it and the radar on the phone weather app wasn’t working.
On its approach two miles coming directly at us, it split from one into two. Both strands went about a mile around on each either side of us. A miracle. A pure miracle if you ask me. But I never forgot the sky or how I felt.
As I laid in my bed last night, I tried mentally prepare myself for baseball-sized hail crushing my van, and along with it any options of getting to a new job or training for a new job that I’ve been trying to get but don’t yet have. I tried to stop my mind from haggling with insurance adjusters that don’t exist.
My text to my son indicated he as already home when the storm hit. He hadn’t gone out with his friends.
Howls. Torrential rain. Flashes upon flashes through the curtain.
This morning, I found that we were under a tornado watch and then a warning.
I didn’t want to look last night. Like in the van, there was no place else to go or be or to flee to. Being scared wouldn’t have helped. Had things had gotten louder, I would have taken the dog and we would have sheltered in the bathtub with me, but it didn’t. I slept well.
According to the reports, there might be more of that today.

I just did a search in my email for the word “apply.” Results total from February 2025 - now = 472. This means I’ve conservatively applied for about 400 jobs since February of this year.

If the surgeon is uploading his field data into the comments section, how do others find this and all other related information quickly and append it to the applicable sections/findings of the current document?
If there are multiple comments with new field data, there needs to be a mechanism to sort through it, compare it with other field data uploaded for analysis, and more. Then the findings should be inserted into the document in the appropriate places.
How does that work in this model?

There's several "AI" companies that generate scenarios and results from the prompts involved. Your job is to check it, fact check it, fix the grammar, make better suggestions, and improve the dialogue.

Y'all need to read the terms and conditions of those "Train our AI" companies very carefully.
Not all companies are like this, but the one I just ran across snuck some pretty interesting things into their legal agreements.
🤠 Your "job offer" may be nothing more than an independent contractor agreement with task-based pay with no guarantee of tasks assigned.
😇 You might also be agreeing to allow these companies to inspect or audit your personal devices for several years AFTER your relationship with them ends, along with agreeing that if they feel you're still not in compliance, you must pay them for your trouble.
👏 There may also be hidden "work-restriction" clauses stuck in other parts of the agreements or things citing that you're not allowed to have any other contracts, employment, or clients while "working" with them.
Always insist a company send you a machine when working remote. They can inspect their machine to their heart's content. Do not give a company any place to audit your personal devices or agree to pay them if they don't like what they find.
Some clauses are hidden very well. Take the TIME TO READ them all. (I know it's a pain, but it will save you from being ensnared or trapped.) If the company is large enough and feels like it can, it will press these clauses against you. Don't sign it just because you think they "never will."

Yes, I would put up with those difficulties if I was making enough to make it all work. My entire yearly salary, plus some, would have to be replaced to make that work. I've never been able to push through to the other side of self-employment, even in this last year in my final push towards it, to replace a yearly salary. But yes, once you're making enough money, you're willing to pay others to do those things for you and it becomes less of an issue.
While larger companies *do* make significantly more, they're pretty greedy and there's a high chance they won't change the paradigm, especially en masse.

This has been difficult. I wanted Nostr/Bitcoin-only stuff to work, but right now, there's just not enough of a market to make it work. I have to stay where the main audiences are. I still have to pay my bills in fiat. I still have to get a job in fiat, etc.
I'm keeping my presence here because it's dumb not to. One day, I may move to only publishing here. I have no idea. Social medias are always in flux and nothing long term is ever guaranteed.
And yes, as an American, the taxes this last year were a very a stressful nightmare to deal with. Every transaction must be accounted for. Every bit of it reported. I had to deal with two or three different coin tracking softwares and *reconcile ledgers*. Then I still had to pay someone else to do my taxes because the tax software instructions were conflicting with the IRS's instructions. Then when I paid someone $400 to do it for me in person, they weren't listening to me, and got their terms mixed up and even put the short-term and long-term capital gains/losses in the wrong places on the forms. The entire staff at that place had to review my forms because they weren't sure either!

All that being said, there are many hurdles, (like those mentioned) that just aren't going to be resolved until major companies, large players in the fiat world adopt and implement it from a top-down movement. And because of the laws in place, the tracking requirements, the tax requirements, etc., it's not favorable to their bottom line, so it most likely won't be done.

The choppers came over the apartment complex right after my Quran lesson started with my Quran teacher. It wasn't easy to concentrate on what I was reading. The choppers stayed in the area. Manhunt. They’re looking for someone. Immediately after the lesson, I prayed the dawn prayer (fajr).
Then I checked the city’s website to find out about the call. It must not have been a regular shooting. The call location is about a mile away. To sweep an area that large, some of the perps must have fled on foot, and others in a vehicle.

I also read that it eats up garbage cells and repairs sick or unhealthy cells. There are times after taking it where I feel I can breathe better, probably because the oxygen can reach the cells a little easier. It's hard to describe.
After I don't take it for a few days, then take it again later, I feel that pick me up you're describing also within a short time.

I've been taking it for a few months. You have to check the drug interactions. For example, I can't take Zyrtec (allergy med) or its generic counterparts with it on the same day.
For me, it clears up brain fog, but seems to work best if I take it about 5-6 hours after waking. Some days I feel like I have more energy, other days, I don't notice a difference.
I also notice, it's slightly easier for me to eat less and lose weight if I'm taking it regularly. Not by much, but it definitely helps.

This phone AI update will probably just be turned on by default in one of those updates sent to your phone that you have no choice to install. Then they'll probably make it difficult for most people to find the setting to turn it off.
If I have to start treating my phone like a landline to limit its reach at my choosing, I'll just install a landline and go back to a flip phone for emergencies.

Going through an old hard drive (2017) and found some old affiliate videos I never published. A few things:
* My makeup job was atrocious.
* I was very bold in speaking the truth AND asking for the sale.
* I should have started posting videos back then and stuck to it.
* I really miss that jean jacket and sweater.
* Don’t ever let me wear camouflage-batwing sunglasses ever again.
One video was in response to someone saying, “You’re never going to amount to anything.” My speech back then was on point. I didn’t believe in myself nearly enough.

I’ve spent my morning reviewing Islamic marriage contract templates on the internet. As a technical writer with some understanding of contract and family law, my brain can’t help but reword some of these clauses so they are explicitly clear in intention, definition, and statement.
I’m sure those changes will be fine once I cross that bridge, as they don’t change the underlying “interpretation” but only clarify it by specifically stating it.
In contractual law in the United States, contracts must not be vague. I know that when you’re looking through legal documents, there are a lot of vague or confusing-like statements still contained in them.
There’s a huge gap between what the law states and what is actually passed onto parties or judges in a case.
I hope my future husband finds my documentation skills valuable.

Your social media account becomes part of your resume. It’s almost like “proof of work.” You were here. Your content is proof.
I started building out a personal brand on social media two years ago. Based on mentorship and internet guidance, I attempted to “go deep” on X (formerly Twitter).
I was able to improve greatly, especially in the last six months. However, my growth was not nearly as aggressive as others:
* I’m not a “reply guy.”
* I don’t discuss certain topics (waste of time).
* I don’t get into the mud with trolls (waste of energy).
* I don’t pander to the algorithm all the time.
* I aggressively remove followers who I suspect are bots or who are only there to cause possible trouble.
When I filmed this particular video, I was discussing X specifically, but fast forward to now, and I can see how well timed it is. I didn’t know when I filmed this that I would be making the decision to consolidate everything into one domain on Substack: inkedsheets.com.
Everything comes together as it should.
You’re the only one that can share your perspective.
You’re the only one that can try to do something new for yourself. You’re the only one that can start moving in that new direction, whatever it is.
My efforts on social media are continuously evolving. Posting these videos, some of the older ones and now this newer one, I can see the improvement in my comfort level with the camera and the clarity of my speech. Regardless of what happens, I don’t regret learning and improving in these things.

It's interesting what happens when you open your eyes to other things. The likes on the posts on Substack, where people are saying they left or are leaving all things from the major social media platforms, are telling.
People are tired of fakery and being controlled.
While Nostr offers an out, most people are not going to mess with keys, crypto, or a small, active daily user base to build their businesses or grow their followings with.
That could obviously change going forward.

For the first time today, I could read an entire page of the Quran in Arabic out loud in 10.5 minutes. Granted, on that page, many of the letters were more spread out compared to other pages. I know it won’t always be like that for a bit, but I was still happy to get to at least that part at least once.

I've canceled my X premium subscription. Blue check going away in March. I've decided to publish all my content on Substack first and then distribute parts of it out as I'm able. Everything will be at https://www.inkedsheets.com first, but not everything from there will be distributed out.
It's the only way to make it easier for my IRL friends and family to find everything in one place. None of them will deal with wallets, crypto, or relays and such things.

Sometimes that's all you can try and do. It rarely works.
They either aren't knowledegable enough to, have a desire to, or do not believe they can build a successful business based on their circumstances. So they don't bother trying and resign themselves to "saving."
Saving barely worked in the 80s and 90s. Saving your way out of anything today is rarely done. I did it for awhile, but even now the savings is starting to run dry (inflation, unexpected expensive costs, etc.)
Sometimes, I think the the 12 dwarves had it right: "Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho. It's off to work we go..."

As a technical writer who's built knowledgebases, I'm crying inside.
If you had a bad experience(s) with one, it wasn't built correctly and the search function was most likely garbage. It's not your fault, but those definitely leave a bad taste in the mouth.

Which client works with npub.pro the way you've described that's been tested?
Anyone can answer that has experience. I'm interested in validity of the statement.
What I hear from your answer is vagueness which tells me you aren't sure, you are "pretty sure" but aren't necessarily sure because maybe the tests haven't been done to be sure, because "most" clients support it, etc.
It's OK to admit that you aren't sure or that tests haven't been done yet. It's better than brushing it off.
I'm not judging you or npub.pro. I'm just asking a valid question.
If you haven't tested it, then it's OK to put that in your backlog of work or for the QA department to check. No worries. I know things are evolving, but as a business owner, I want to know.
If anyone else is reading this and has used npub.pro to offer their services successfully and has updated their static pages in the past and can show this works, I would love to see the examples you have, especially if the buyer was able to successfully purchase from you or if they were able to schedule a call, something like that would help.

Which clients have been specifically tested with the article format with updating that work as described above with npub.pro?
Not all relays (and maybe clients?) are required to honor all parts of a protocol just because a request is made. For example, a user can use a client to request a deletion of a post, but not all relays are required to honor this. Some clients do not offer the option.
Which ones did you find work properly?

I get that the static pages can be linked to Nostr posts. To make that work, I'd have to create a Nostr post of some kind outlining, for example, my About page.
My random post on Nostr would be an article titled "About" and then the content is below. Then you take that link and place it not the spot you want it in npub.pro.
No problem so far.
I'm just thinking of future revisions. If I updated my "Services" page 5x, that means I have 5 different "Services" articles floating around on Nostr. A user can come find one (an old one), point to it and say, "No. In this post, which is in writing -- says your prices are such and such," when in reality, the *latest* "Services" page has the updated information, right?
There'd have to be some sort of disclaimer somewhere on your profile bio or the website itself stating what is "latest" to reduce the chances of disagreements in the future.
Also, do our followers want to see 16 different published drafts or updated pages of the same page in their feed just because we needed to make an update to a static page?
That's what I can't figure out in my workflow so far. I'm not quite sure what to do with it.
That's where I got stuck in the "building" part. On my regular website (not Nostr), I've updated the web pages a lot. Here on Nostr, had I done that, it would have created the (as an example) 16 different posts each containing a different version of the page.
I'm not sure if what I'm describing is making sense.

I have an old recipe book that instructs you to preheat the pan first before putting the mixture into it. Agreed. That was a new one, but I have some faint memories of my grandmother scoffing to my mother from the other room, "Don't forget to preheat the pan first!"
I'd forgotten about that. Good to know it works with mechanical things as well.

Took a mini trip to my favorite beach spot. Battery died in the van. Had to get it jumped and learned on the way home, the alternator is failing.
I made it home safely and am back to work on obtaining transcript proofreading clients.
On other fronts, I'm still trying to pick a content strategy to move forward with.
I can scale the amount of content required to post daily across all channels with AI, but all that does is give me 3-5x the amount of *rough drafts* to sit and genuinely fix and rewrite each day.
That still take real human time (hours of focused concentration), not AI time.
I'm also stripping many of my yearly subscriptions. At the end of 2024, I found that I have around 20 yearly subscriptions totaling around $3,300.
Half of those are required expenses on my end and most of that half is required for me keep my full online presence up and running. I'll be knocking the rest off slowly. To save money, I'll have to get rid of Beehiiv, the X premium subscription (buh-bye blue checkmark), and Carrd to name a few.
To reduce the amount of content to produce, edit, and other such things, I've considered only doing a video each day and only writing my stories/columns for The Stealthy Scribbler Society publication, and distributing those rather than producing 30 slightly different pieces of content daily.

I could only be publishing on Nostr, keep my regular web presence, and keep The Stealthy Scribbler Society on Substack for its email distribution.
I'm still trying to figure it out.

I have channels that close once every 4-8 weeks. I don't do anything. I hardly zap. They just close. To reopen another channel, I have to drop another 250k sats, which usually I do not have in the "Savings" balance at the time, causing me to spend more.
I don't want to deal with that anymore.
Since I've been here, I've spent hundreds on sats, mostly to just keep those channels open. That's plenty to keep a channel open (and have it stay open!).
I, personally, at this time, do not want to spend anymore money on this.
I think Alby is great for a lot of things and is ready to scale, but as a new user, having to drop 250k sats every time a channel needs to open (because they keep closing!) gets old.
I hope what you're saying will alleviate that going forward.
Another channel closed in the last 48 hours on my node, and my node health is sitting at 12%.
I don't care. I've already informed support that I'm not spending any more money at this time, even if it means not being able to send or receive zaps.
All I wanted to do was send and receive zaps when signing up for Nostr. That's it. Nothing more.
Spending a decent chunk of cash to keep channels open regularly when I'm not the one causing them to close is not part of the expected user experience when onboarding a new user.
There's a gap between the perceived ongoing experience and the current reality. I'm glad to hear Alby is still working to close that gap, but I'm on the edge of leaving.

I'm going to give these new progressive lenses two weeks.
I had the previous new prescription lenses for just over a week and they were terrible. I now have the wide-progressive lenses which alleviated much of the challenges at the middle level.
If I still can't see, I'm considering actual lined trifocals.
