Steam summer sale. Finally bought Skyrim, since it was cheap. I'll try it some time soon.
Also bought the new PowerWash Simulator DLC. I hope this one has a plot, too. It's an Alice in Wonderland themed DLC, which had me laughing quite a bit when they announced it. It's downloading now.

There's quite a lot of coverage of her arrest and such, because she attempted to talk the cop out of arresting her by telling him repeatedly that she's a judge.

My mom watched all the reruns, and by the time I was a toddler I think I could probably have spoken the lines along with most of the original series as it played. In fact, I think my siblings and I got in trouble for doing that too many times while mom was watching it.

Libertarians suck, yes, but even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
Those boos were a joy to see, despite who was doing the booing.
Driving him out of there would have been better, not letting him speak at all would have been best. But they're libertarians, I don't expect much from people who really don't understand how civilization works and expects everyone else to cater to their needs.

That reminds me of a conversation I had with an older lady in this very red part of our state. She said she was fine being thrown out on the street "if it would help the country". I asked how it would help, and she said they wouldn't have to pay for her housing. When I attempted to point out all the other problems it would cause, she dismissed my comments. This is a woman living on social security.
Some folks don't get it. A healthy society takes care of its people.

Yeah, Wine didn't work well the last time I tried, which was years ago now. But I could do a lot... just not everything I wanted to do.
So, yeah, like I said, I can probably make the move now. I'm just so old it makes me tired just thinking of it. I'd rather Windows just didn't get any crappier than it already is.
I'm taking a look at linuxmint, as that might be enough to sell me on a move. We'll see.

In the past, it's been my PC gaming habit that ran headfirst into LINUX. I know Steam runs on it now, but it didn't then.
