Good news for #RouterFreedom and #NetNeutrality
The Italian regulator AGCOM has opened a consultation on the determination of the location of the termination point. This will define whether end-users can use their own routers and modems to connect to the internet.

The FSFE :fsfe:, with 40+ civil society organisations, signed an open letter coordinated by @npub1w4r…8cxz urging the @npub1m96…ag4y to not be intimidated by threats against a vigorous Digital Markets Act enforcement.
For instance, #Apple has taken an aggressive position against the #DMA, litigating against the EC in a case we are intervening.
DMA is crucial to stop and prevent monopolistic practices. It represents an important step for #DeviceNeutrality and #SoftwareFreedom

Our community reached the EU institutions its answer expresses vague support for #FreeSoftware.
Unfortunately it is failing to provide concrete examples on how to do so. The EC needs to come up with dedicated budget for Free Software solutions!
