there do seem to be some contradictions in the explanation. coracle lets you 'broadcast' other people's notes to your own relays so if your message gets sent across the network I guess people who are not directly connected could see the note, but if they responded the op wouldn't see it... unless the reply also got shared by others?

update on the weed situation, grass clippings have helped a LOT; weeds are fewer and the ones that do make it through are very easy to pull up. squashes looking thirsty though!

my first attempt at bottling as the plum harvest is mental this year and I'm still pissed at missing it entirely last year. think they need less time poaching as have gone a bit smushy.
method:
wash fruit and destone
cook in 10% sugar syrup (900g water, 100g sugar), or apple juice for less than 5 mins
transfer fruit to sterilised jars, top up with hot liquid and seal finger tight
Waterbath for 20 mins then remove and tighten lid
hopefully these will keep for 6 months without refrigeration and save my freezer space for bones and chicken feet!

Made a very short video to help my dad get onto @nprofile…vksf along with click by click walkthrough. He claims to be 'non-technical' though I suspect lack of effort so I'm shooting in the dark for a balance between patronising and hand-holding.
