I am referring to this Ordinal NFT thing. If a sat is an NFT with value, but also is just a Satoshi, and then you spend it like a Satoshi, then your NFT is gone too. I’m sure there’s a way to deal with this, just don’t know how it works

I had a similar experience. At one point my lightning was removed and another instance my relay list was changed but after investigating what can happen is a client your using doesn’t fully load and then you update your profile or actually hitting follow on someone is the same event as a profile update and suddenly you unknowingly sent an event with a missing lightning or changed relay list. It probably doesn’t mean your key is compromised

Yeah, I think that was what happened. It was the snort relay, the damus relay, and one more i can’t remember. Assuming those are the defaults and then we I followed it updated. Thanks!

Thanks for explaining. So then if the Frontend fails to load correctly and then you update your profile could it update the relays to be just the defaults? Specifically I was following a bunch of npubs and at the time of my pressing follow my profile pic and other data wasn’t loaded in snort, but the follow seemed to work just fine until later I realized the relay list was changed

ok, something changed my relay list down to just three and I had to add some back. The only two clients I used today were Damus and Snort

What is a good approach to learn and gain skills to work on Nostr? I don’t have much time these days but I want to stay current on it for in the future when I do have some time.
I was thinking just trying and build a relay from scratch and follow the NIPs. Doubt I’d be releasing anything, more of just something to play with for now. Any other ideas?

If I’m understanding correctly the nostr protocol does not have the concept of a “like” on a note. I realize this protocol isn’t really social media specific but wouldn’t it make sense to add that to the protocol and not rely on specific clients/relays implementations?
