I was listening to Hitch and Rushdie in 2010, and Rushdie asked: When print media fails, what happens if the internet doesn't then manage to begin producing the large scale journalistic efforts that had been associated with print media.
"It opens us to an era of terrible relativism"
However I think we are actually now two steps later. Basically Meat corporation and $lph$b$t corporation screwed humanity after the death of print media. But now we are even in post-enshittification.
