Keysend payment end point working on my test setup but it involves updates to the backend.
Got to check those out a bit more then push that live when I'm happy all the database accounting lines up.
I do have some questions about what the apps expect in the way of specific error messages if payments fail. The docs aren't really specific.

Working on the Keysend payment endpoints for the V4v Alby API.
It's all relatively straight forward and reuse of code I wrote ages ago.
I understand what I'm doing is not popular with Alby. But I've looked at all the ways of connecting lightning nodes to their Alby system and none of them handle multiple accounts.
I don't see lightning having a decentralised non custodial solution for non techies anytime soon.
It will centralize on the big companies.

If someone has a GreenLight virtual node and is trying to receive tips from Nostr for example, if one receives 1sat per minute 24/7 is there some penalty for the node waking up every minute?
Do you even need to receive the sat? Is it possible to wake the node up just with an lnurl call to generate an invoice.
I have specifically put very strict rate limits on my invoice generation api to stop this.

I have two working endpoints, /user/me and /user/value4value
Happy to hear if anyone else can get the auth cycle working: all you need is a Hive account and probably Hive Keychain browser plugin or phone app.

I think I've done it....
I think I've got a recreation of Alby's auth and one end point so far.
You need to have a Hive account and the only endpoint I've built is
/user/value4value
Once you get a bearer token, that end point will return details for the hive user who completed log in. Details of the two URLs which need to change are in this gist:

Is the idea that these baby nodes which only spin up virtually are only supposed to have one in/out channel to the hosts's proper node?
I'm struggling to see how I would replace my 24/7 full Lightning Voltage node with this system.

they stay in sats now until the holder chooses to send them out to another wallet via an invoice or convert to Hive or hbd.
I send a 0.001 Hive message as a notification (which you keep obviously) so I debit that 0.5 sat from the balance.

when I built my original system I used the REST API because I simply couldn't figure out how to make gRPC work. With rest I do watch for incoming invoices and that triggers my back end to do stuff.
I actually pull all invoices in and decode them but I could just pass the right ones across a bridge.
But that was 2 years ago and my skills were very basic.
I dare say I could do this.

I'd love someone to build a Hive to Activity Pub bridge. I'm sure this would be amazing especially because the back end storage would be taken care of by Hive.
