I use this idiom extensively in Swift with Godot.
I used to do one guard for each condition, until I discovered I could compound those all in one go with the comma operator.

I am not a very knowledgeable C++ programmer, but this introduction to Swift for C++ programmers both covers a lot of ground I had not seen before, and explains things succinctly that I had not grasped before.
I am jealous of how well written it is, how effectively and succinctly it communicates these concepts.

I am struggling with coming up with a good looking set of document tab bars for Godot on iPad.
My first take was this, it was a blend of Xcode elements.
And Václav suggested something like the second, but I think it feels strange. Anyone has some pointers to apps with document tabs on iPadOS?

When you have an iPad sitting next to a Mac, if you push your cursor with the trackpad on the edge, it can move to the iPad.
The question is: what sorcery is MacOS using to figure out in which side the iPad is sitting? I did not tell MacOS this at all, and it just figured it out.

Two things I just learned:
- the iCloud storage is in addition to your AppleOne subscription, so I don’t need to buy the 6 TB tier yet, I only have to buy the additional 2TB to extent the 2TB I have from AppleOne.
- you can share the storage with your family (our family is 5, not sure if Apple Storage is Utah-friendly)

In Yak Shaving news, my last project was “I bet I can rewrite the debugger pads in SwiftUI and it would be fun”.
Good news, I did, it was fun, the result is awesome, and it was quick.
Bad news, the immediate consequence of this was “well there are a lot of other pads that deserve the SwiftUI treatment”

Given the current inflationary cost of Yak Shaving, I think Godot for iPad will be feature complete sometime in September/October - this is the earliest I can have useful TestFlight feedback.
Hopefully I can properly launch to the public early next year, depending on how many bugs and warts have to be fixed.
