I causally dropped bitcoin into a conversation with another family at my kid’s school during pickup time. They started asking questions about what give it value, etc (in a very genuine way). Bitcoin exchange rate to dollars feels like a situation where gas has been poured ALL over the ground for a YEAR waiting for a match to strike. Plebs keep DCA’ing into cold storage despite the sheer volume of FUD because they understand math. Sats become more scarce:
1. Every 4 years
2. As more people get orange pilled

They disagree if bitcoin mining has gotten more efficient. Saylor says it has and Wall says it has but that the efficiency is lost because people just bring on more miners and it balances out. Sorta like how Apple silicon is way more efficient than intel, but we use the efficiency to bring more power.
Wall is arguing overall energy usage of the entire networks where saylor is looking it from a energy to generate a given hash rate. Saylor is right, but they’re honestly discussing different things.
