My homie Jan who I posted about who was a young Bitcoin/XMR developer who was looking for a job, just forked Cake wallet's radar app (which is a signal fork which cake added lightning payments to) and he added xmr tips like a straight up gangster and not with that gay ass lightning shit that cake thought was cool.

I am now running my own personal nostr relay and blossom server via umbrel.
I am still waiting for my monero node to sink so I can use @npub1dcu…ppmp 's Monero Superbrain Suite.
I started syncing the node yesterday and it's at 93.34%. It's also a full node, not pruned.
Monero Superbrain is the entire reason I decided to throw umbrel on an old desktop I had laying around. This is going to my third monero node.
Check out monero Superbrain if you have umbrel.
https://github.com/brainchainz/Monero-Superbrain
You need to add it to the AppStore as a community app. Can't wait to start playing with it once my node finishes syncing.
I am also self hosting whoogle, search, nextcloud, forgejo, my nostr relay and blossom server, zerotier, and bitboard. Going to self host as much as I possibly can on this umbrel server, which is on a machine here at my house under my desk. It's dope.
Every other time I have self hosted previously I have done it on a cloud VPS, so it's never been on my own hardware. This includes all our fork the system stuff like our site and restreamer etc. It's awesome to be repurposing a computer that was just here collecting dust and turn it into a data ownership privacy powerhouse.

The only way btc's pseudonymity could have ever worked to provide any degree of privacy would have been with massive peer to peer use as digital cash. If a huge portion of Bitcoin was constantly changing hands between people it could have provided a degree of anonymity as long as you did not link it to your real identity.
Since that failed and financial institutions now control it's trading and have implemented widespread KYC that ship has sailed. Add to that that nobody even spends their KYC'd Bitcoin anyways and if they do the KYC'd merchant is immediately cashing out for fiat, and all the miners also being KYC'd and also subject to censorship pressure from the state.
BTC will never become money, the attack has progressed too far along, and now it's just a gov approved trading asset. It's been too wrapped into the legacy financial system. It's attack surface is too big, and the onchain fees choke out any meaningful use. Layer 2s are a joke as the blink hack has shown.

The bitcoiner's pathetic clinging to BTC as some kind of revolutionary freedom tech, almost 20 years after it's launch, when it is clearly a regulatory captured, mostly kycd surveillance NFT primarily held by banks and financial institutions needs to be studied.
Some will even concede that BTC is not better p2p cash than monero and say to spend monero, but to save in BTC. Remind me why I would want to save in a totally transparent regulatory captured, non fungible token that can be traced, taxed, considered tainted, and that 85-90% of the other users have KYC'd to acquire?

One of the hackers got traced using tornado cash and shielded zcash, and now is pushing the funds back through tornado cash but then cashing it out from tornado cash into a railgun clone ethereum privacy thing instead of just using monero :Veryhappy:

It would be definitely be valuable for someone, but our RSS feed is handled through our site, my co-host is pretty knowledgeable about programming and made our site custom for our needs.
Honestly, I know you won't like it, but integrating XMRChat.com into ShoSho would sweet af. You could have it alongside lightning and allow viewers/donaters/senders the choice to choose if LN or XMR.
Another sick feature would be to offer the RSS and have it automatically distribute your recorded stream to the podcastindex.org and have it automatically distribute your recording as a podcast in podcasting 2.0 apps like fountain , antennaepod, boostmebitch, etc.
Another thing is in ShoSho you have a relays option to add a nostr relay, but if I don't run my own, it would be cool if shosho had a default relay one could use to auto distribute the stream as a post to nostr clients like ditto, primal, damus, etc

Hey, @npub1r0d…fsft
I discovered shosho and zap stream by asking people here on nostr what the nostr Livestream options were and both were recommended in that thread.
I had previously seen other people on nostr streaming over nostr a while back.
I am currently using both shosho and zap stream, as well as twitch, kick, rumble, youtube, odysee, and a couple other streaming/video platforms to distribute my self-hosted Livestream show that idk with my friend Dave, aka Snex, who is my co-host.
I am using shosho, zap stream, fountain and XMRChat for superchats/boosts/donations/questions.
Tbh I like shosho better than zap stream, fwiw. The UI is more intuitive, and is easier to setup the connection in my datarhei restreamer instance.
Hope that answers your questions. If you ever want to come on the stream, message me, I would love to interview you about shosho. We stream every Thursday at 7pm US Central / 5pm US Pacific.

2026-07-02 22:13:08 GMT

- reply

bch has adjustable blocks like monero which i think is a way better model for onchain fees since bitcoin was always supposed to bee about millions of people using it as p2p cash and fees eventually replacing the diminishing block reward, and in monero's case we have a tail emission so miners arent even dependent on fees, and also helps with velocity of money as opposed to a finite 21 million which encourages hoarding and discourages uses as p2p cash, basically nobody really uses btc, and custodial zaps of 21 sats don't count. The only time bitcoin ever ssees any meanigful onchain use is with things like ordinals when the throttled epstein developers refuse to increase blocksize with demand like satoshi instructed. the wet dream bitcoiners haave that somehow nation states will use btc for settlement and pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for a transaction is completely retarded. anything producing L1 fees for miners should be prioritized in everyway before they decidde attacking the chain is more profitable or just abaandon btc and pivot to ai. it's a permissionless netwoprk, being a faggot about how people try to permissionlessly use it is gay and retarded.

Satoshi left, and Epstein payed off the core devs and blockstream to never make it private and anonymous as Satoshi and Hal Finney intended and they basically throttled bitcoins throughput to push everyone into centralizing layer two bullshit vaporware like lightning, and pushed a digital gold narrative which was literally created by Epstein instead of uncensorable anonymous p2p digital cash. The Epstein files document this and so does Roger's book hijacking Bitcoin. Now Bitcoin is a banker/pedo co-opted fully financialized, kyc'd, taxed, chainalysis surveilled NFT with zero value proposition.

Roger was correct and Bitcoin (BTC) is a hijacked pedo surveillance NFT. Bitcoin cash is the real bitcoin, no matter how unpopular this ideas is here on maxitard nostr.
