Am I just getting old, or is using #iPadOS for anything other than streaming videos an exercise in complete frustration?
Copy & paste is a total crap shoot depending on what app you are in, integration with 1Password is janky - using a keyboard other than the Apple one? Yeah total crap shoot if that is going to work with an app or not as well.
All I was doing was trying to book some tickets on the BFI website and update a page in Notion 🫠

I'm not even sure I had a mobile in 2005 (wasn't much of a thing in PEI!). Had an iBook G4 for my portable work computer, and a Quicksilver G4 on my desk at work. I splashed out on a chunky Fuji digital camera, and was still rocking the OG iPod with the physical wheel. I think I moved to an iPod Nano in 2006.
Oh the jump to WordPress. I remember shuffling my website to WP and it being so exciting. I'm pretty sure my first WP site was for recording my trip in the UK in October 2005

This got me thinking - what if all technology just sort of halted around 2005ish? How would it impact you personally and the bigger picture?
Thinking about me, I'd still have a way to listen to music on the go, a Palm for keeping organised, handheld game consoles. I'd miss immediate information about my trains in the morning and evening. But I'd have a lot more blogs and discussion forms to read.

it is indeed a Newtonian! A Sky-Watcher Explorer-130ps 130mm / 5.1" scope. It was the starter scope my dad had about 20-odd years ago, so it was very familiar to use.

Oh yes! I did use it via Retroactive for a bit and then ran into some issues I can't recall. Just getting back into properly taking and organising photos again... and bad timing as I'm running Sequoia beta :D Maybe a new life for an old Mac Mini 🤔
