KYC free / No KYC #bitcoin is bad framing as it automatically adds a negative connotation.
How can I buy ID safe bitcoin (where criminals can't get your ID) or which ethical companies do you get bitcoin from. The frame must be changed or it is an uphill fight.
Normies mostly don't care about 6102 etc or heard of it. They do think that proving ID is a "normal" act. They do understand people stealing ID and worry about it but misplace trust in 3rd parties. Finding the ground they understand breaks the frame that non kyc buys are dangerous or illicit. It breaks the fear spell that is used to capture free people interested in using an open opt in money alternative.
No one would provide ID to send a DM similarly no one should be providing ID to add entries on a ledger. It's all data all the time.

If you want to run a #bitcoin node and have a pi you can still follow @npub1txw…yt4x guides just select arm64 package instead when going to install things.
Its straight forward and he goes through everything. I was using node packages for my pi but wanted my own samourai dojo on it, ministry of nodes is a great way to learn and be in control of your funds and what you want to install.

Cool tool, thank you. I had this and it happened everytime I saved a relay list with iris immediately. The relay list got nuked after logging into snort if it helps.
"my loss of follows was that one client 'forgot' about all the follows in the kind 3 event which didn't have a relay attached. I have not tracked down which client this is, I'm using a whole set of different Nostr clients and am unable to reproduce the issue."

I just found Arron Dover in all this time never heard of him. His videos/pods are hard to find since death in 2017. Main idea there were no floors and the buildings were energy towers hence no floor debris after collapse. Cannot find a resolution as to why he thinks they were hit however.

I logged into snort (just before they done the recent update by a few hours) to check my dm's. Snort had three relays listed only that were not my usual. When I went to log into another app (Plasma) it showed only the three relays from snort. Plasma has no relay selection yet just view ability.
I decided to log into iris as I know it has an option to save relay list publicly, this solved my problem!
...However upon solving that problem iris nuked my follow list lol so now I am to using coracle to rebuild my follows as it is the most stable no nuking shenanigans and a decent search function for finding accounts.
Final final problem primal won't let me add new follows now since this as it says I am not connected to relays but loads my current following feed.
Sticking with plasma and coracle they are the best for android mobile/mobile web. 👌

Logged into iris and set defaults/saved publicly think this might sort it. Kinda convoluted new users trying out different clients are going to get very confused and frustrated (I know this isnt a plasma issue) maybe adding a default relays save public like iris could be cool within plasma 🤔

not sure, I wasusingt snort which only showed 3 relays. Was able to add more within coracle. Went back, app still showed 3 (profile page says 11). uninstall didn't help. Odd... 😅

There are ethical companies that allow you to do this such as @azteco it might be worth pointing out that it is not illegal or dodgy or shady to obtain bitcoin this way and you can keep receipts of all your purchases for your records should you wish.

Twitter videos load like garbage and have done for me since I first logged in. Nostr notes load quickly my DMS and notifications are not as fast and sometimes missing but that is rare. On the whole the experience is less bloated for sure.

You get a voucher which has a qr code and serial number that resembles a phone top up voucher. You can redeem this in two ways.
Scan the qr code which works automatically with certain wallets, bluewallet for on chain and phoenix/wallet of satoshi for lightening and the SATs are sent to a fresh address with no further action required.
Or
Goto the site and input the serial number on your voucher and an address to send to.
It is seemless.
