I decided to check out The Quintessential Quintuplets and for a romance series it seems good. The girls are cute at least. I think I like Miku and Ichika the most from the first episode at least. Also the Japanese name seems better being roughly "The Five Part Brides"

I played a bit of Zenless Zone Zero. It's more of an arena brawler like Honkai 3rd, but it's very smartly designed. I like the motion graphics and the splitscreen cutscenes. The style is pretty good, I could see the story being actually entertaining

In Elden Ring the "intended" thing to do was when you get stuck on a boss to go somewhere else and level up. What did people actually do? Throw themselves at the Tree Sentinel and Margit over and over again until they killed them.
The developers didn't learn from this for the DLC it seems. I haven't finished Elden Ring, so I'm not getting the DLC yet. Maybe when it goes on sale.

I finally caught up with Frieren. It was very moving, with many parts welling up emotion within me. I definitely prefer when it's more dramatic compared to the "walking around town" parts, but having that contrast does help. The author does get the nature of "magic" quite well
