I don't know about the others, but it's usually in the 1.25–1.5% ballpark if you don't have a monthly subscription fee with an exchange, and you have to take into account the spread, which is often a hidden fee.

My thesis for the upcoming Bitcoin years:
Fiat shenanigans will happen using Bitcoin; they will undoubtedly have early success, but they will all inevitably fail.
Most of the 2025 cohort will use a wrapper to gain Bitcoin exposure. MSTR, ETFs, and others will be invented.
Some of these wrappers will outperform Bitcoin for a short period.
But, in the end, many people will realize that owning self-custodied Bitcoin is better.

Last summer I played golf with a guy who had built an algorithm to trade and beat the market. I think he did beat it this year by about 10%.
I asked him, "Why don't you just buy Bitcoin and beat the market tenfold in the next ten years?"
He told me his algorithm was safer and would perform as well in a bear market.
My takeaway was that people will tinker with building useless stuff to try to have a minuscule advantage before just buying Bitcoin.

I sent my 70-year-old mother $5 via a Blink wallet. She was always scared of Bitcoin, but now seeing it appreciate to $5.25, she wants to give me money so I can buy Bitcoin for her.
She will never ask her financial advisor about Bitcoin and will never set up an account on an exchange.
Custodial Lightning is probably the best option for her now.
Once the stack is large enough, I'll figure out a way to set her up with a cold wallet.
IMO, a custodial Bitcoin Lightning wallet is the best possible onboarding tool.

I really don't know how it could play out, but I think a friendly tender offer would be the easiest and quickest path.
Saylor would need 50% + 1 of the voting shares; right now he has 45%. Interestingly, BlackRock holds 5.2%...
Then strike a deal with the USG.

This is it.
My only resolution for the year is to live with maxed-out Bitcoin/short fiat exposure.
While selling Bitcoin doesn't make sense tax-wise, I plan to use a FBTC as the vehicle to reset my dollar-cost average and achieve my goal. At the same time, this will reduce the fees from buying and selling each month.
1. Buy FBTC with every paycheck in a normal account.
2. Spend on a credit card.
3. Sell FBTC to pay the credit card and mortgage.
4. Transfer any surplus to a tax-free savings account.
5. After tax season, buy Bitcoin and send it to cold storage with whatever I have saved.
