I just realized that the interior dimensions of the IKEA "Kallax" shelf are just about perfect for up to 12-inch vinyl records. The interior of each shelf is 335 x 335 mm, and the record has a diameter of 304 mm, leaving a small margin for the sleeve and handling.
I also have no fucking idea whatsoever what I'm going to do with this information. 😃

Semi-unsolicited thoughts/suggestion:
That the diagonal is leading out of the picture doesn't really help, but I guess both you and the bird were where you were at the time so there's only so much you could do about that...
I would try at least cropping the image to a portrait aspect ratio instead of landscape.

@npub1k24…26zw @npub1yse…jaay Yeah, that notice is in the standard Mastodon software web interface. It's also worth keeping in mind that it's a *request* for deletion. Remote servers which have cached your posts are in a position to choose how to respond to it. Most servers probably handle it just like you'd expect, by deleting the content when they get to it, but there's no absolute guarantee that they don't take the "please delete this post" message as a flag to specifically keep the post around.

@npub1k24…26zw @npub1yse…jaay I understand perfectly; I was the same way initially. Maybe it would have been easier if I had just set it like that right from the start.
Just a heads-up, don't be surprised if it takes a while for the deletions to be processed. I think mine took several days to delete old posts covering maybe half a year when I first set automated deletion. It'll get to it.
What *doesn't* get removed that way seems to be favorite marks on posts. Those look like they remain.

@npub1k24…26zw @npub1yse…jaay Mine is currently set to two months, with some exceptions. I agree, it's not like there's any easy way to find any particular post in one's own history anyway, and the odds that I'll actually go back to them are... slim. 🙂
I don't consider the Fediverse for long-lasting content anyway. If I want to preserve something for posterity, that's what my blog is for; where I also am not limited to 500 characters.
