Techniques I already know
Maintainability of the relay software
Still we need more one-click easy implementations of nostr relay software imho.

Ons vermoeden: Als je naar de site gaat die benoemd wordt, kom je op een website, die eruit ziet zoals de site van Bitvavo. In werkelijkheid is dit niet de site van Bitvavo, maar van scammers. Scammers proberen zo op slinkse wijze persoonsgegevens te bemachtigen.
En jawel hoor; als je naar de site gaat krijg je deze pagina te zien met de exacte branding van Bitvavo, waarop staat dat je je toestellen moet 'controleren'

Klik je op de knop "ID - Aanvragen" dan moet je je gegevens achterlaten.
Een duidelijke scam om je gegevens te stelen. Heb je je gegevens in zo'n formulier ingevuld; dan kan je een telefoontje van 'Bitvavo' (de scammers) verwachten.
Scammers praten je dan in een heel mooi lijkend verhaal om je bitcoin nóg beter te 'beveiligen'. In werkelijkheid proberen ze je crypto/bitcoin te stelen.
Let goed welke gegevens je over jezelf prijsgeeft!

Thanks! We use DaVinci Resolve for editing. We're going to change it to 480p to start with for now and I'll search for the 'best' settings and will look for a good combination between file size and quality!

To be clear: I haven't bought a subscription to nostr.build (yet) and I'm not complaining. Just trying to get value out of this protocol and am searching for effective opportunities.
I know stuff on #nostr isn't always really like we want it to be, and that's totally okey. Well get there together. Just searching for a good balance in usability, quality & costs.

We could get some more information how to share this natively on #nostr. The video is almost 30 minutes long and almost 6GB in size.
I really would like to place this natively on #nostr but zap.steam didn't work for me and with nostr.build I'm afraid I'm way too fast through my subscription (nostr.build could host 5 video's for us in this resolution)
What to do? Smaller resolution? Not posting it on #nostr. I'd like some feedback.

Besides that I've been working with @npub1pt0…jyc6 to release the Dutch/Belgium version of the @npub1qv0…ujnc Portal for meetups.
This portal can be found on https://portal.eenentwintig.net and initially will be used as a Meetup organizer, so that most organizers in the Netherlands and Belgium can ditch meetup dot com.
Check it out. This portal will have additional functionality in the future. The best part: it will have dutch-only content because learning in your own language matters.

They probably have. Communities working together is the way ahead. Centralizing decentralized communities through THE NOSTR is probably the best way to connect. Takes a bit of time, but will be the next phase IMHO.

Lats week at Bitcoin Amsterdam we met a lot of #noderunners. Who are the noderunners? A group of dedicated (mostly Dutch) bitcoiners. A bit like the A-team . You don't find them. They find you ;-).
A bunch of good guys protecting the values of Bitcoin... Had the pleasure to meet a lot of them. Will have the please to meet more of them in the future.

Also Ledger Live has an 'Analytics' setting, which enables Ledger to collect user data. Clicks, Page Visits etc.
Searching for the right tool for you is a bit of a journey with a learning curve, but you'll manage it ....

I think it's all voluntarily controlled by the user.
Let's say theres 2 "profile builders" competing with each other.
I give them my the allowance to build my nostr profile and serve me ads.
1 is giving me the profile of a 16 year old female - highschool and interested in make-up.
Other is giving me the profile of a ~35 year old male - IT-nerd - tech-enthuisiast and entrepeneur.
(Obviously these are far apart, but that's to make the point).
I block all the advertisements, except for the advertisements I'm willing to see from one of the 2 profile builders. (I can block all the advertisements, because I'm using relays and a client which enable me to block all the advertisements).
When I want to see relevant advertisements (because I also want to get paid to consume content on #nostr) I decide only to see advertisements coming from a specific profile builder I chose.
Which do you think I'm going to choose?
Currently I hardly see ANY advertisements on #nostr, but I might be willing to see advertisements when I'M getting paid to see those ads.

I gave it a good thought. And it's extencive.
Currently with the traditional social media the platform is the gatekeeper for the #Ads. #Advertisers pay the platform to display ads and 'trust' that they display the ads to it's users with a specific profile. - Platforms ( X / Facebook / Insta / YouTube ) are in control. - User is the product.
Moneyflow goes like this:
Advertiser ----> Platform
On nostr this shifts completely because the user is in control. The user decides which relays they connect to and which client they use. There are 3 (or more) parties involved who decide which ads the user gets to see.
1) The user himself
2) The Relay the user connects to (Relays will compete with each other in the future)
3) The client the user uses to connect to the relays. (Clients will compete with each other)
4) Maybe profilebuilders (Profile builders will compete with each other in the future)
And the advertiser? They should pay all those parties in a good proportion. (Zaps & SATs)
So #nostr will enable us to be paid to see ads from advertisers.
And relays serving those ads and clients displaying those ads also should benefit from this.
This incentives Advertisers to have a good profile of the user they want to target the ad and to add value to the life of the user seeing the ad, or else the user blocks the advertiser.
There will be "advertiser profile builders" in the future competing as well and getting a part of the money the advertiser pays as well.
Money flow goes like this:
Advertiser ---> User
Advertiser ---> Relay
Advertiser ---> Client
Advertiser ---> Profile Builder
But the main part:
User is in full-control of these though the client he uses and the relays he's connecting to and the profile builder he's using. So advertisements wil be better than on traditional social media and you get paid to see them.
