That's been the case for a while now, which is why all non-Firefox based browsers all use the Chromium engine/APK. It's just performs and renders so much faster than Gecko can, despite the best efforts of Mozilla to optimize it over the years.
I only use Waterfox because of the Chromium Manifest V3 extension APK being deliberately rolled out by Google to neuter ad blockers. Otherwise I'd be using something like Vivaldi as my daily driver browser instead.

I cleaned and rearranged my room yesterday after getting back from my trip, as I brought my Plufl bed with me on this work trip and had just placed it back where it normally lives.
I took the opportunity to rearrange some things to make it just that much more comfy and cozy, and I slept sooooo peacefully when I got down onto all fours and snuggled in last night.
Finally had a good night of sleep for the first time since last week! :blobfoxmeltsoblove:

Earlier today a young male fox came by the house I'm staying at. My guess is he's a first time dad trying to find food for mama and the kits. Looked to be about a year old at most.
I happened to be wearing my fox kigu when I watched the adorable critter from the kitchen window. Observing how he looked around the yard, watching his ears swivel around as he would turn to face a certain direction. Then he looked up at the window and we locked gazes for a moment before he went back to what he was doing previously.
I felt a jolt when it happened, a spark of joy overcoming me in that moment as we watched each other. It's almost like he could sense that I was there, yet didn't feel scared of me at all.

My dad brought home a green parrot a lot like that one when I was quite young. Her name was Alice and she was one of the meanest birds I've ever known, hehe~

The fox starts to pant eagerly as you reach out for the tail, the tips of your fingers grazing along the surface of the rubber for a split second before the four-tailed fox darts behind you with an excited vulpine giggle.
In one deft motion, the fox lifts the back your shirt, gripping the base of the tail in its other paw and firmly pressed it into the small of your back. The patch of skin where the tail has touched is alight with an intense warmth, the latex softening and melding into place with a putty-like consistency before the kitsune lets go and backs away.
Before you can process what's happening, those keen, intense eyes of the creature lock onto you once more. Watching intently as the rubber continues to meld, soften and spread along your lower back. Engulfing more and more of your body as that warmth continues to spread.
The tail now has a presence within your senses that bombard your psyche with intense feedback. The motions and reverberations as it sways, curls and wags. The ripples of the rubber envelope coursing along its length as the air subtly shifts around within.
The warmth continues to spread, a tendril of goo running along your spine all the way to the base of the skull before plunging into your hair. Within seconds, two bits of rubber emerge into vague triangular shapes before fully forming into a matching pair of rubber vulpine ears.
That's when a voice echoes out around you, with an ethereal, otherworldly vibe.
"Yesssss, coming along nicelyyyy~ You'll be a lovely rubber fox just like me before long~
The kitsune approaches once more, running one of its paws along the contours of your head as that paw traces further upwards to your newly formed ears that twitch in response to their very tips being grazed.
"So sensitive, aren't they? Don't they feel wonderful?"
Vulpine purrs rumble around you before she leans in further, placing her muzzle right next to your right ear with a soft, sultry whisper.
"Do you wish for more?"

You might be happy with what's called a 60% or 75% layout keyboard, then. Sometimes those can get weird with the keycap layout, but that keycap set looks to be rather versatile.
The enthusiast brands have barebones models available that only include the base. You'd pick out the key switches and cap set you want and assemble them accordingly.
As for a specific brand to recommend? Anything but Keychron, tbh. (They tend to do proprietary weirdness with their cables despite being USB-C.)

First of, what kind of layout do you prefer? Do you want a full keyboard with the numpad, or would you prefer something smaller?
That specific keycap set would work with just about anything that has a tradtional layout like a full-size or TLK (full keyboard without the numpad)

While out on an evening stroll through the park, the pathways illuminated by street lamps, a creature approaches from the shadows. At first it appears to be just a fox scampering by, but the fox stops and sits on its haunches in the middle of the path, illuminated by the streetlamp above.
This is no ordinary vulpine, as its form reflects the lamp's yellowish light with an odd shiny appearance. Then an ethereal pink glow surrounds its tail, which splits into four and fans out behind the creature. It then stands up on its hind legs while staring directly at you with an intense stare, stepping closer and closer with subtle squeaks and squirks of its paws on the pavement.
A rubber kitsune has crossed your path!
Now it stands within arms reach, the strong scent of rubber proving to be nearly overwhelming, yet alluring in a way? That's when the shiny creature holds up an equally glossy fox tail, offering it to you with a kind smile. Part of you wants to run away as fast as possible, yet the tail beckons to you with that same ethereal energy that the kitsune carries.

A squeaky balloon kitsune appears on stage next to the microphone stand, her rubbery form illuminated beneath the lime lights of the set with a high gloss sheen that accentuates the curves of her form. She then reaches for the mic and presses it up to her rubbery snout, delivering one of her graceful, rehearsed opening routines as she gauges the crowd.
A few jokes land with laughter from the crowd, each one capped off with those quirky segues that the rubber fox is known for, going back to the first train of thought of a story she was sharing from her office days.
"So, we were all sitting down for lunch and I started rambling about work stuff. I, of course, would then springboard off of unrelated things they brought up and go on seemingly unrelated tangents like I usually do."
*Laughter erupts through the theater.*
"That's when I thought of that one time I was at a grocery story during Christmas time and felt compelled to try on one of the costume antlers in the seasonal aisle. I swear to you that there was a point where I detested those antlers, but this time it felt different. I actually liked it, felt a spark of Christmas cheer I hadn't before, and I was teased for it by my doe coworker and her caribou friend ever since.
They both gave the 'one of us, one of us' routine at the time, hehehe~
Well, of course when I remind said doe about this, she starts to do the chant again. That's when I felt something within my mind being conjured, coalescing into the perfectly formulated pun for this very moment.
I said 'If this keeps going like this, I might end up having to dox myself.' At first she was perplexed, to which I followed up with 'you know, deer, fox...' and then she shoots me a dirty, evil look of pure rage. Flipping me off her hand-hooves, like...
*The kitsune starts pantomiming the gestures of the deer with her bapper paws, somehow still able to perfectly convey a middle-finger with them. The entire theater erupting into thundering laughter once more.*

After my last self-reflection, and letting go of a lot of negativity weighing me down, I started to take inventory of myself.
As I recognize the growth I've gone through, no longer being the timid, perpetually anxious and traumatized creature that I was a mere two years ago. I've noticed that there are facets of my old self that have started to re-emerge.
My wit, natural charisma and charm have been slowly returning, as well as my other positive traits like loyalty, love and compassion, and the calming presence I naturally possess. I've also become aware of a nurturing and protective nature to myself, too.
All of this is great! Wonderful, even. Yet I'm starting to realize that this growth and re-connection with long dormant parts of my old self is leading to another transformation of my very being.
For a while now, I've had doubts if I was even a fox to begin with. There was a time where I was an Arcanine, and this part of me is starting to return. I even think "wolf" or other large breed of dog might be a better fit at times.
Yet, I also recognize the vulpine spirit and energy I carry all the same. My spiritual sensitivity, my claircognizance, my cunning, my desire to change forms, even my obsession with big, fluffy tails. Then there's the good fortune I bring to those I love in my presence. All of this suggests I possess powers and traits that a mere fox or wolf otherwise wouldn't.
I'm not a vixen anymore, but something much greater. I'm a kitsune, a powerful fox spirit. I used to actually be fearful of this possibility, but now I'm growing to accept this power to be a loving, compassionate guardian of all good souls in this realm.

I felt myself start to shift the moment I poked my head into my nest, seeing everything go dark and imagining I was entering a cozy subterranean fox den. Even found myself curling up into a ball and pulling in some plushies to snuggle with, hehe~

I'm tired of being such a cynical bitch.
Sure, bad things have been happening. In tech, in politics, in society... Yet I'm starting to realize how much that has been weighing on me, emotionally.
There's one thing to be aware of bad things happening, and another to be so paranoid that I expect it to happen to me at the drop of a hat. A "what is it this time" attitude I keep carrying with me everywhere I go, every decision I make. Dragging down the mood of the room when someone brings up a subject I have lots of knowledge of and then having them tune me out when I go on a long rant about how X thing is fucked up, because of Y example of corporate greed, because Z people are involved...
I can't take it anymore. I hate how all this negativity has been weighing me down. How much it's been affecting me mentally, emotionally, spiritually... My anxiety keeps trying to protect me from these things as it perceives them as threats, but there's so many newfound threats almost every day with this mindset.
I dunno what to do here, other than to accept what's happening and try to make peace with it. I just... I'm so tired... :blobfoxcry:

Ugh, I got some really bad news when I went to pick up my prescription today.
Turns out that my Medicaid insurance plan was terminated as of December first. :blobfoxnotlikethis:
I wasn't notified at all by the county office that manages my case, this just sorta came up out of the blue.
When I logged into the state-wide portal, I found out that my case worker STILL hasn't updated my phone number on their end, so that's why I never heard from them at all.
Silver lining is that open enrollment is supposed to remain open until December 15th, so I'm hoping this gets resolved in a way where I'm able to get health insurance again. I still have trauma from 2023, when I lost my health insurance, so I'm praying I won't have to go through this shit again....

Ohhh, that sounds like you're encountering the nasty side effects too. It's a glorified amphetamine, so you might encounter withdrawal symptoms if you're already taking a significant dosage.
The Atomoxetine kicked in almost immediately for me. Like, within a couple days after I started taking them.

That's the thing with the stimulant flavors of ADHD medications, I've found. Folks will build up a tolerance after a while and the therapeutic effects lessen until you up the dose.
In my case, I was also encountering the "wired, jittery" side effects that led to insomnia when I'd take the lowest dose, so I stopped taking them outright.
Ended up switching to Atomoxetine, which is a non-stimulant ADHD medication, and that's done wonders for me. The mental fuzz, the executive dysfunction, all of that went away without any of the nasty side effects of Vyvanse/Adderall.
