I've read it and understand it for the most part I believe.
I'm certainly not the only one that has these reservations about a great company suddenly embracing crypto stuff. It's stuff like this that leads to more and more in the future, and then next thing you know, a company you've been with for years and spent money on becomes nothing but a big crypto bro. We've seen it so many times.

That makes sense, but for some people, they don't want to be associated with a product/company that has anything to do with crypto. It's as if the company is saying they approve of the scams and such that happen in the crypto world.
Some also feel, if you're going to add this crypto stuff, what other crypto stuff will you add going forward?
Just a touchy subject for a lot of people and something to be leary of.

Another thing that seems so weird is how so many folks on Mastodon talk about how millionaires/billionaires are ruining the world with their greed and that nobody should support them.
Yet they want to give money to a possible presidential nominee who has more money than all of us.
How does this make a lick of sense at all? If you're against millionaires/billionaires and their greed and all of that, why would you want to fund those same individuals?

Ah, gotcha. Melatonin will work one day for me, then the next it won't and it takes weeks before I can use it again and have it work. So I just don't use it.
Thoughts can certainly play a huge part in things from what I've heard.
I've never tried journaling as it's just not something I've ever been into.

Oh I'm sure they wanted tours. But it's a beautiful city to tour.
I've only been twice, and this last time I was lucky enough to be able to go from July 2nd - 6th, so we got to see the fireworks on July 4th in the nations capital. That was a bucket list item that's now been checked off.

We've noticed these tests certainly aren't cheap, but not really super expensive I guess for what they are.
They almost always have a sale it seems too, so that helps. Just trying to figure out which company is the best to go with.
Lots of people say to not use 23andMe, but then of course a lot of people say they are the best.
Ancestory.com has them cheaper than 23andMe.

The periodontist visit wasn't near as bad as I was expecting it to be. The dentist didn't poke around as much as the previous two did, so that's certainly a good thing.
Scheduled to go back at the end of October, but will hopefully get in sooner with any cancellations they end up having.

Spicy Dill Pickle goldfish are a very limited edition flavor and we bought the last two bags that they had on the shelf.
Exceptional dill pickle flavor. Not very spicy but there is an ever so slight kick to them.

Thank you! Just sucks I had to get it repaired due to the prior dental place not doing such great work a few years ago.

How are we all doing today? What's on your agenda for the day today?
For me, I just got home from the dentist to have a small cavity that was once filled years ago redone. Was a quick in and out procedure, thankfully.
Work stuff with no meetings today, thankfully.
Video games this evening with some friends and just resting and relaxing other than that.

Spam detection is mediocre?
I've gotten maybe 10 spam messages in the 9 months I've been using Proton. And they have all been marked and caught as spam.
I'd say that's way better than mediocre.

I assume you're talking about across the top in the header.
The issue is, the theme doesn't have a Mastodon icon built into it and I have no clue how to add it or if it's even possible to do so. I unfortunately don't know how to code to make it happen.

Should tell you in the bottom right hand corner of the window if you don't have the status bar hidden.
You can always enable the status bar via Settings.

I'm truly not happy with this logo for my SeerOfSouls.com website.
It's something that was auto created and was really put there as a temporary thing.
I have no idea what I want or what I need. I'd like to find someone that could come up with something really nice, different and unique that fits the site a bit more in style, colors, and anything else.
Anyone got ideas? I'm willing to pay if it's affordable.
Maybe someone like @npub1zfv…65xy could create something really cool!

How are we all feeling today? Do anything exciting over the weekend? Have anything exciting to do today?
For me, it's the usual work stuff but without a single meeting, which is always nice. So it'll just be answering emails throughout the day.
Fortnite with friends tonight, as we'll be playing more of the Fortnite: Reload game mode that is a ton of fun.

Glad to hear you are doing well. Hopefully you're enjoying Mastodon so far and glad to hear you're planning on making it your main social media.
It's a lot of fun here with a lot of great people. One suggestion I have is, make sure you add a profile picture as that helps others identify you better and makes any posts you post here associated with you easier.
