i hate youtube shorts (regrettably i dont have a good way to hide it on desktop so occasionally i do get pulled in), i was about to comment a fun fact and it just refreshed everything so now you get to hear my mini infodump instead
calling beans on toast (particularly his take on the common variation with a nice cheese sauce) reminiscent of ww2 field rations is incorrect only on a VERY small distinction, as american field kitchens (producing field meals rather than rations) did actually put a canned food with sauce on slices of toast, with the only difference being that they used corned beef rather than beans
and it was tastefully named “shit on a shingle”

entire factions are straight up just not winning even in casual play and the only way thats changing is if gw pushes out a new line of minis they want you to buy, in which case they will buff them to shit before retroactively nerfing them again in a dataslate a couple months later
and just… most of the time the game straight up isnt even fleshed out, it only really becomes good at the tail end of an edition when all of the faction specific rules have been released and ironed out
ur spending years playing an unfinished game only for gw to push out a new edition as soon as it starts engoodening

update on the mincraft on openbsd front
its working lmao
had to change datasize-cur to infinity for the staff login class in /etc/login.conf cause java couldnt allocate enough ram otherwise
and after that it was just performance stuff, install sodium lower the render distance a bit to make the gpu less bottlenecky and bam, runs mostly playable
