Even assuming the miracle happen, there is a deeper problem in Bitcoin that no one care apparently, the centralization of mining by big companies, this is by far the most critical point because it's the network itself, if they can enforce a blacklist upon them, Bitcoin's network is screwed because at this point it will be possible to implement a whitelist. Seems you don't understand how it works, do you really think the government will let Bitcoin become mass adopted against their own currency the dollar or their own interest? My words are confusing sorry. More clear: The LN was made by Blockstream, a for profit company backed by bankers, and it's surely not for our privacy. The top 5 LN nodes: Around 40% of the public network
- ACINQ
- OKX
- Bitfinex
- Binance
- Kraken
They can receive pressure by government for implementing the OFAC blacklist or something like that.
It's not done yet like in Ethereum (around 40% nodes are censorship compliant) but it's obvious they will try force it. There is nothing we can do against it. It will be more and more centralized and probably more and more censored, I hope to be wrong

Oh you don't understand, I'm not against Bitcoin at all, I remember 10 years ago it was very different, there was no moonboy, we used Bitcoin for the DarkNet and it was ok. Bitcoin is not strong because price is up, people don't understand it, they think like "Bitcoin make 10x it's a very good thing"... privacy is so important, it can protect you from bad people or crazy government. Just Monero is really really better for P2P digital cash because it's anonymous, we don't know who send to who and we don't even know the amount. The DarkNet is where we need to look at because they need the better thing able to protect them from prison. They use Monero now, Bitcoin is risky for them, and it's for us too if the government go really against privacy and freedom and I think they will go in that direction so I hope Bitcoin will be better but when I see the mining centralization by big companies and development in the hands of Blockstream which is backed by bankers... something tell me it's going to wrong direction...
