Ametica is a continent, not a country.
No need to mute a whole continent, home of 35 nations registered at the UN.
A larger diversity in culture, politics and economics than e.g. you find among the nations in Europe.
And yet people throw this multitude of nations into one big bag? Confuse a large country with all of the continent? It is like talking of "Europe" and only meaning "Greece" (originator of the name). Or "Germany" (largest economy).
Or the other way around: if a German or Greek would equal his country with the whole (sub)continent... we'd correctly point this out as hybris. Or nationalism.
So: Let's not mute America! America != USA
Actually let's not mute anything if our reasoning capabilities are weak insofar as we don't even use terms that clearly distinguishes entities.

I can however say that a self-compiled Emacs with eglot and corfu works fine, no crashes.
However, I don't use corfu that heavily.

I don't know this, and I don't try to refute this.
Because it's irrelevant.
The reason this village was massacred was that many people of IZL origin / Begin' party where there. They provocated the people, heavily. And let's assume that one of the people there shot really first. Then, even according to Jewish old testament rules (eye for eye, tooth for tooth) is entirely unreasonable to kill of most of the village. Persecute the murder, that's all that was called for. But don't mass kill and even parade some captives through Jerusalem.
It's like today: first Israel provokes (they do it since decades actually). Then criminal and brainwashed Islamistic entities in Gaza make an attack, killing innocencts, abducting people, "parading" (this time via Internet movies) of their ... "achievements". And ignoring any scale, any "eye for eye, tooth for tooth" law that prevents escalation Israel's IDF kills more than 15 times the people. Demolishes houses (effectively expropriates everyone, Hamas member or supporter or not). Starves people, even hinders and attacks aid organizations. Israel treats the people there just horrible, like "guilty due to be born there". All of them, not just the horrible islamists that kill with a smile.
I've yet to see any case where military forces were successful in prosecuting criminals.
They excel at creating misery, and making the jobs of the brain-washers ready. The next generation of terrorists is already in the making. And no military action, not even a mass genocide, will be able to prevent this.

Very easy to be proofable wrong. Just one counter-example will do.
But why I bother with falsifying it? Because I dislike the mental works-view behind such utterings.
The Roman Catholic Church. You don't need to like this organization, but it was a) founded well before silly people tried to press everything into some left/right agenda. And b) by now it's one of the oldest existing organizations, and still not clearly left-wing or right-wing. E.g. in Franco-Spain it was right-wing, but in some latin american countries it could have been viewed as left-wing. But this was only for some time period, and in only a few selectt places.
Now you could argue that eventually, maybe in another 1500 years, this org will become extremist and that therefore my counter-example isn't logically sound.
Then: every organization founded *and died* before people even thought about left-wing / right-wing is also a counter example. Clearly e.g. the north-german/european "Hanse" federation never went extremist. And with any additional number of years it still cannot become one, since it's already out of existence.
Therefore I encourage you to view the world analogue, not binary. There aren't just two values in the political spectrum, there is a continuum of many diverse views and points. That might not make a simple world-view for people wanting simple solutions. But the word *is* actually complex. And so my witty saying of the day is therefore:

This long word of mine is of course a joke. It has a true root: very often bureaucratic language uses such composita. https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaftskapit%C3%A4n was actual in use from 1829 to 1991 in Austria. Which oftentimes seem a tad more bureaucratic than Germany.
So in official documents this word really existed (river danube steam ship company capt'n).
And then people used that base and enlarged it arbitrarily, like I. Adding things like "officer candidate school teachers room" and whatever else comes to mind.
Now, our brains have been trained on this and we understand it quite easily. In written form, and in spoken form due to rhythm. I'm unsure how good test-to-speech software would work on them. But composita with more than 3 nouns are extremely unlikely anyway.
For you it might not seem difficult. But English e.g. had also difficulties you don't recognize, but non-native speakers do, For example the highly irregular working of sounds, or speaking of similarly written letter combinations. That actually made English text-to-speech suck for quite some time. Example: say "same" and notice how you say the ending sound. Now we add two letters at the beginning and say "sesame". And suddenly the ending sound is completely different. English is full of such irregular things.
LLMs helped than tremendously, e. the. try the Python project piper.
Would these sound-words exist in German, we would write "saim" and "sessamih". Because we have a quite strict translation from letters to sounds and vica verca.
So if we see a letter sequence, we can always speak the word just because of the sequence, without prior knowledge of "How do I say XXX" like in English.
For this reason "Weltschmertz" is utterly wrong. When we say Schmerz, where is no explosive t-sound before the z-sound. There are a few words with a t-and before the z-sound, and exactly then we write a t, like in "Wetzstein".
And so if someone writes "Weltschmertz" or even "weltschmertz" then (s)he clearly communicated "I want to appear clever, but really I have no clue". In this case it was the Monty Python texter trying to be more witty than good :-)

If you adopt German words, mind of do it correctly.
We capitalize nouns, so it's Angst. While or long concatenatef nouns madness *) makes reading more difficult, capitalizing them maybe it a bit easier.
And we almost never use "tz" where a "z" will do (except in a few surnames) So it's Weltschmerz.

If the network is big enough and changes often enough, then yes.
Might also include security things, like selecting installing and maintaining VON, preventing, defining gear update procedures (you probably don't want to update all your routers at once if the vendor was again sloppy and introduced bugs).
The bureaucracy of keeping an inventory of all your gear (and links) isn't easy. Even if you use things like Nagios etc.
Hey, and even the CLI of a typical Cisco gear is so overcomplicated that you need to study weeks to get it.
So yes, every day.
That's why I never aimed to be one. Especially as they either work shifts or are on standby. I value my regular sleep.

You fell into a thinking two.
Just because some of Islam is abhorrent doesn't mean that Likud/Ring extremist governed Israel is good.
The world is large, and there's certainly room for more than one entity that sees personal gain from escalation.
Can it be that you are US American? Now often than not they only thought in 0% as nd is 100% categories, completely ignoring that there are an infinite number of values in between. But for some reason many of them longed for as simple world, where things are either good or bad. However, few things are binary.
I stand with what I said: the culture in the tale isn't like current Israel, not at all. And the real existing threat that Israel faces and in helped create / sustain doesn't change that at all.

Nah, that take doesn't be describe Israel.
It doesn't contain the constant aggression and micro-aggression of it. Like putting up settler towns in occupied areas, separating farmer's from their friends by huge walls, depriving old families by their water Rights, just sitting with drones and rockets at people (even if they aren't terrorists at all, r.g. setting up kitchens), making over 80% of a population homeless and replaced persons, demolishing tons of private dwellings.
And the last isn't even complete.
I mean, even back in the days of Golda Meir this country declined a piece offer from Egypt. And while I don't like at all that the PLO made one of their terrorists their boss (which was then worldwide accepted) .... Israel did the same with Menachem Begin.
And before you call me antisemitic: Hannah Arendt and Albert Einstein already said that Israel is racist. And will get even worse.
Israel has accumulated so far a whopping 103 cases of failing to follow UN resolutions.
I doubt that the pyramid people in your take are as cold, racist and criminal.

This Tuya cloud lockin is ridiculous, as is the 25000 upfront cost for better plans. I guess Tyya is mostly a reseller towards tiny chinese manufacturers???
When I switch over to electrical heating, I'd probably do it with a split AC that can also heat. They are basically heat pumps, so you use 1 kW of electric power and get 3.5 kW of heat energy. People in far more colder climates than Germany use them in the winter (e.g. in Finland), so good ones are even usable in winter. And they warm the air, so w.hen you turn them on, the effect in the room is immediate.
A german youtuber (Andreas Schmitz) made several videos on this, e.g. this one https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wB8rq-D9PAQ - he also checked if the warm air flow would be uncomfortable to him, which it was not.
Best of all: these split climate devices are controlled via infrared, which you can also operate from #HomeAssistant ... either with an ESP32 with IR LED or with some prebuilt 16 € device from Aliexpress.
