I don't understand this obsession with gendered bathrooms. We are all just going to private stalls to relieve ourselves.
Not sure why it matters what my or your genitalia look like if no one (including the person defecating in the other 75% of relief experiences) is going to see it while I am/ they are in there, and certainly no one is going to see our birth certificate gender marker while in there, so, really, WTF is up with this obsession?

Someone once suggested saying "Potato" instead of "Hello" when answering the phone for numbers not in their contact list.
It works!
I have been doing that for about four months, and not a single machine / robo-dialer has known how to handle it.
I'll change to Tomato once they figure out this One Nifty Tric

My mother, like the prez, has narcissistic personality disorder. People with NPD are never, ever satisfied.
The lesson I learned and want to share is to never give an inch. It is impossible to appease the unappeasable. There is no use trying, especially if you have to give up your mores and values to do so.
Industry leaders will hopefully learn this quickly. They have all bent the knee and kissed the ring. What they don't realize is the appeasement is always very, very temporary.

Undocumented workers may have lost their life savings in the LA fire. Laws require proof of citizenship to bank in the USA. Without access to savings accounts, if their homes burned, their "under the mattress" burned along with it. They generally aren't able to access aid; and with Trump taking office on Monday, they likely won't even try if they could. Devestating.

The media needs to stop referring to Brian Thompson as a healthcare executive. He was an insurance executive; a corporate exec in a capitalist society.
Denying health promotion and disease prevention care is the antithesis of healthcare.
