Grok was generating non-consensual nudes of actual women, making nudes of pictures uploaded to it. This is illegal in the UK, aside from the immorality of it and is making the news in several places.
Instead of any person at X making as statement, someone inside has Grok issue an "apology" as if it were a person, not code. So following a terrible thing with another bad one, and trying to further anthropomorphize LLMs because then they can try to blame the code instead of the coders

It's always been considered that higher warp speeds take more energy to create, hence more stress on the parts etc. But you will notice now there's a lot more "Go to maximum Warp" and ignoring the numbers entirely. I loved the that whole plotline about ruining space and needing a speed limit, because *storywise* they keep shrinking the universe I love the idea that they are months away from command or resources and need to figure things out. Bummer they dropped it.
