You can do a permissioned read to retain power, it's a little more effort, but doable.

Yeah that's why I run my agents isolated in their own containers and try to make sure to never leak keys

2026-10-07 05:49:32 GMT

Nostr git repositories are way more suited for agents (i hate this word) than github.

Cloudflare and my VPN are fighting each other cloudflare exit is only accessible by two of my VPN exits.

2026-10-06 11:59:56 GMT

Maybe running the cloudflare tunnel for my zaps behind a vpn wasn't such a good idea, but we have the code now, should be easy to fix!

2026-10-06 11:34:40 GMT

Fuck yeah it works! From my home machine XD

Macbooks are the worst offenders here, the OS just keeps eating up any free space you create, I've carved a seperate drive for my work files and that has helped me solve this problem to a large extent.

My bad, so far, we were just trying a few things to see what works, but now I think we are confident with what exists, will write it down ASAP!

Hey we're not using a custom protocol, We are using WKD, which protonmail also uses, so it's interoperable

2026-10-01 06:34:08 GMT

I don't understand why we need kind1111 for other stuff comments either, kind 1 simply works and is better for discovery too.
Although I will not fight the community on this one, and my strategy of just supporting both has worked out well so far.

2026-10-01 06:11:58 GMT

I like the idea let's see how it goes, would definitely use it for zepvertising some future formstr stuff.

Ahh mails received on the nmail bridge would be out of our infrastructure and control, unless the bridge already published them as nostr events, then they become interoperable.
Will check the receiver address rendering, looks like a bug, will fix!

Having said that we do have a lot of features on top that are extra like WKD PGP encryption implemented on top of nip-44, and domain routable mails ofcourse. I'm not sure if NMail has it, but it'd be awesome if they do!

2026-09-25 13:45:50 GMT

We follow the same protocol, and we are interoperable with Russell's implementation as well. The only differences you'll see are in the actual implementation, working and reliability of our services.

2026-09-25 08:11:45 GMT

Mailstr will soon be able to route your "<username>@<yourdomain.com>" emails to your nostr inbox. I'm spoiling the real announcement :P but I just did the PoC and i can't containe myself 😅

What's the best piece of advice/lesson you've gotten by a nostr npub?
Mine has to be:
"The easiest way to make money is by helping someone else make money" by @npub1r0r…q9ac
And also paraphrasing but something like:
"Whenever you build a product, think to yourself who will be the most worst affected by your product not existing"
- I'm not sure who said it but it was on nostr 😛
Now you go!

2026-09-19 00:52:00 GMT

At this particular stage in the AI landscape, if you're using any other cloud model other than DeepSeek V4.1-Flash . You are definitely losing money. It is so high in quality and so cheap in cost, I cannot even describe. Might change tomorrow, but this is the case today.

you have to have your own blend files and stuff, but once everything is setup the repo automatically converts your md script to a video, there's an example directory that has all assets and script for you to test out

2026-09-13 13:10:47 GMT

First, I created this mechanism: https://github.com/abh3po/script2video - this converts a specific markdown script format that can reference blender and godot files into a video. Then i used an llm to make such blender and godot scenes. Then i made the LLM understand my idea of "soul as a pattern" and it out popped the script, assets and eventually video

2026-09-13 11:08:07 GMT

First in a series of video essays I wanted to talk about but never got ot around to:
SOUL/REINCARNATION (In the mathematcial sense) IS ABSOLUTELY REAL.

Wow. I'm working on this awesome script -> video project so I can make videos while also being able to build nostr tools for you guys. The TTS is going to improve this is just a test, but essentially, the AI takes a script, outputs slides + 3d renders + scenes using godot and blender. An example video :

You have to prompt your AI to stop treating "you" like it's personal assistant, and go test things itself, and fix them before asking you to do a final look over.

2026-09-10 16:18:46 GMT

"I don't care about privacy" is an instant turn off, if somebody says this they've lost my respect to such an extent, I can't be their friend anymore. It's like saying, "I don't respect myself enough, to want to control who's keeping tabs on me".
If you don't respect yourself, how do you expect me to respect you?
