Have you ran this on larger diffs? I'm playing around with it but it seems to bust through the context window quite fast. That results in not all diffs/files being "reviewed". Also it's still quite slow locally. Claude has a 200k input token limit, so might be less of an issue.

in terms of the PR you could opt to implement the standard open ai api type interface that ollama also supports. That way one could hook it up to any of the llms that support that interface.

Yeah I had two APs after adding one recently and I wanted to manage them from a dedicated thing so this was great, also good value for ~ 100 euro. The wan port on it is 2.5 gigabit but but the other ports are 1 gigabit so not sure if that makes sense really. I'm on a 1 Gbps plan but my network is mostly wireless so I'm never going to use that full bandwidth.

The 4b is fast enough at those speeds by the way, so maybe finetuning would get me better quality at the 12b level for the the specific task

for speed I'm comparing it to commercial models, for the scenario that the model needs to be on-prem or at least self hosted for example. It's just a tad too slow still right now. This is all ollama with Q4 (default ollama quant) . MacBook as fast as a beefed up CR instance doesn't seem right but maybe it is?

Trying to self-host Gemma 3, since the model is pretty capable from what I can tell. On my macbook I get about 60-70 tokens/seconds for the 4b model, but it's not super great. I tried deploying on Cloud Run with a GPU and that gave me similar numbers. Can't it go faster? Also I would actually want to run the bigger 12b model. Not sure what common token/s numbers are and how this can be sped up...

I contacted their support a while ago to get these settings. First they told me to upgrade to a more expensive plan, but then they just flipped a switch to let me enable or disable Gemini everywhere.

yeah poor Apple 😁 I got a free trial with my MacBook which I need to remember to cancel because unlike other services you can't cancel before the end of the subscription cycle and keep access. They really want that accidental 10 euros I guess.

What I've learned from the passing of my dad is that most companies do not have specific communication when an account ends because of a death.
Getting emails addressed to "the heirs of xyz" congratulating on moving house is a bit awkward.

Many Android projects use CI to run tests on Firebase Testlab, deploy apps to the Play Store or App Distribution. Or maybe you are deploying other Firebase or Google Cloud services? This all requires a service account stored, which is not the best for security. I wrote down how you can use workflow identity federation on GitHub Actions as a more secure alternative.

Freelancer woes: a customer does not remove you from their systems and you get all sorts of access and other things you shouldn't have...None of these tools allow you to remove yourself as a freaking admin (except for Github) and all support does is recommend you to contact the (unresponsive) admin 🙃
