Pleroma 2.10 is OUT NOW. Check out the changelog at https://pleroma.social/announcements/2025/12/31/pleroma-release-2.10/. This is a big release, long time in the making, which was derailed by an unfortunate data loss we experienced on gitlab. It also contains a much improved frontend!
This one has a lot of bugfixes and security updates, so update at your convenience.
Thank you for your support, thanks to the contributors for their work and let's make 2026 the best year for Pleroma!
P.S.: The OTP release currently requires ubuntu 24.04 because of an upgraded GLIBC requirement. If you're on an older version, you can look at https://git.pleroma.social/pleroma/pleroma/-/merge_requests/4415 for a workaround. I'll be working on a fix that will make the release run on older versions again, but if you're installing it right now, keep this in mind.

A new release is out 2.9.0. It contains some security fixes so I'd recommend updating asap.

Tons and tons of small changes and fixes both in frontend and backend. Best read through the changelog, it's long.
