In fairness technology always has the potential to be used negativity but without a sense of morality and denying the essence of humanity I’m concerned for how we value human life. Philosophy helps but often points to a god in some sense like Platonism or the Tao. And a lot of philosophy is built on Christian culture which is being stripped away.

There were a few for me but the biggest is a basic one. I was in high school and only listened to Top 40. Someone snuck into the queue The Doors’ Light My Fire (that is, they took out the current burned CD from the stereo and replaced it with theirs). I didn’t know that sound existed. I moved away from everyone at the party and just sat and listened to the alien sounds and became determined to find more music like it.
