#WritersCoffeeClub Sep 20. What fonts do you use for paperbacks or drafting/digital?
I don't fuss too much over that. I write first drafts in markdown (Drafts 5 app) so the font is neither here nor there really. BUT for proofs, I like to use Courier - double line space obvs, wide margins. And for publishing? That's someone else's decision to make..

Absolutely. There's satisfaction when it works and a challenge to get my teeth into when it doesn’t. There's the odd pleasure of reading back work I wrote so long ago it's almost like someone else's. There's a deep flow — when I'm lucky — where the world makes more sense because of how my brain and fingers are connecting to the page. It's the best way I know of figuring out what I think. I wouldn't be without it.

Drought in Mexico threatens the production of agave spirits.
"[Rain] totals across much of the country have been less than 25 percent of normal with large sections having totals less than 10 and 5 percent of normal."
The winter has been very warm, reaching 43.6ºC in February, which means moisture reserves in the soil were depleted also.
Agave farmers tend not to irrigate but rely on rainfall to water their crop.
