I use the #pomodoro method for productivity. I don't use todoist as a productivity tool. It was not my style. **The best tool is the one that fits with your workflow and organizational style (i.e. the one you will actually use)**.
I used #Workflowy for years before switching to privacy-first #Logseq (it's like Workflowy on steroids!) + a free self-hosted instance of #Nextcloud with Nextcloud Deck for team collaboration projects.

Awesome! Thank you :) My threat model allows for using GPS (Google Play Services). I try to avoid getting apps from Google Play whenever possible, but I have some apps I pay for that are not open source, not available anywhere else, and I want them connected to my GP account.
You can set up an anonymous Google account if necessary, or choose to not use it at all. Graphene has some cool things like the ability to deny network access (for keeping Gboard from calling home for example), storage scopes, sandboxing etc, etc., so personally I'm okay with it. However, it is threat model dependent.

My views align with PG and modern security standards regarding obtaining apps from F-Droid. I don't recommend getting apps from F-Droid unless it's the only option.
If F-Droid must be used, F-Droid Basic is the preferred choice. F-Droid Basic supports automatic background updates without privileged extension or root and has a reduced feature set, limiting the attack surface.

In June 2013, Cristian Marian Becheanu, a 14-year-old student from Segarcea, Romania, performed a remarkable rescue. Three-year-old Gabriel Ruiu had fallen into a narrow well in his family's yard, becoming trapped 50 feet down for 11 hours. After multiple failed rescue attempts, Cristian volunteered to help.
Despite the risks, Cristian was lowered headfirst into the well, which was barely wide enough for him to fit. Equipped with a headlamp and his arms outstretched, he successfully retrieved the trapped toddler.
Following the rescue, there were reports of the town pledging to provide Cristian with a plot of land and a house, though it's unclear if this promise was fulfilled. Cristian did receive other honors: the emblem of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (becoming the only civilian recipient) and the Romanian Hearts Trophy in 2015.
This wasn't Cristian's first heroic act. At age 9, he reportedly helped rescue four people from a car accident and had previously assisted an injured classmate. Cristian's actions are particularly noteworthy given his modest background, living with his grandfather after his mother had left.

Not sure specifically what kind of scams your parents are experiencing, but there are a ton of resources on the subject. If they're dealing with telephone scammers, then Scammer Payback is definitely a YouTube channel I'd recommend:

These last few are more specialized, but also very relevant:
- "The Game" by Neil Strauss is more about pick-up artists but covers many tactics of psychological manipulation.
- "The Art of Deception" and "The Art of Invisibility" by Master Social Engineer Kevin Mitnick (RIP), the world's most famous - and formerly most wanted - computer hacker, cover real stories and examples of how social engineering can be combined with hacking.
Again, if I had more info to go on specifically, I could give a more specialized list, but as a broad answer, these are a few resources that will help them to understand scammers' methods and protect themselves from various forms of deception and manipulation.

That is a very big topic. There are so many translations to choose from, it can be a daunting task to know where to begin!
More literal translations of Tao Te Ching tend to miss the concise beauty and contemplative flow of the original Chinese text, while more concise, poetic translations tend to stray from the original Chinese text.
In short, if you want a deeper understanding of the text, aside from or in addition to learning Chinese, owning multiple English translations is the way to go.
**Here are some English translations of Tao Te Ching that I recommend as a good starting point:**
- The translation I have been sharing this time around is from **Stephen Mitchell**. It is a beautifully meditative translation, but not always the most true to the original text. Though when liberties are taken, they are taken in the spirit of the Tao.

Welcome. "A bit" is quite the understatement. Nostr has been Bitcoin-dominant since its inception. Monero folks are here too: some maxies, some who use both. We even had a half-assed fork of Amethyst for a while with Monero tips baked in that everyone was using and excited about. But the developer basically dropped the ball right out of the gate by wanting to charge bounties not just to keep it updated, but even to fix their extremely negligent bugs. It was apparently just a proof of concept that hasn't been updated in over a month. Someone will take it over or another will come. There is too much demand for it not to.
