More expensive headphones expected to work longer - started to glitch.
More expensive shaver, I bought to switch from buying new rotary shaver every year to buying new blades instead... its head started to collapse and break into parts accidentally.

"forces that discipline corporate wrongdoing"....? There is single force that able to discipline a commercial entity - loss of profit and bankruptcy of it or similar entity who done same wrongdoing, in a way that even for donald-trumpeer would be obvious why bankruptcy happened and "please not repeat that".
State essentially does anything to avoid bankruptcy since specific entity size.
Consumers boycott don't work.

By it, the Communists were called "right", and those who wanted democratic reforms, multi-party pluralistic system, etc/, were called "left".
