He could tell they were drunk. He ignored them.

Reminds me of greenhouse days long past. We used to trick the azaleas to manage time to market.
We would shorten the daylight hours with covers over the beds. The plants were all potted, so bed in this sense was just a large tray. Large, meaning hundreds of pots.
This was to keep them from flowering. Periodically, some would be rotated into a huge walk-in cooler. Can not recall the temp, but I would guess near 50F. Great place to cool off.
Then, as market conditions decided, they would be pulled from the cooler, and given full days of sunlight and warmth. And, in a few days, they would start their bloom of flowers. The plants thought it was spring.

Makes sense I guess. The bridge plugin only sees each commit to the WP database. It assumes that you only make one post to WP, and does not handle updates.
Maybe the plugin needs an option button whereby after edits, you click the button to 'send to fediverse'.
It's all pretty new and use cases maybe were not considered.
The button option could be a feature actually. Maybe there are WP posts that one may not want to spread to fediverse anyway.

Btw, I am in Missouri, but I take no prescription drugs. Though I did years ago for allergies.
So, the data is probably no longer in existence, and those meds are probably not even manufactured any longer.

I am really close to cutting the cord.
I do not watch much TV in the first place.
Yes, I will lose some content, but in reality, most of the time I already learned of it here.
Plus, I am sick and tired of the ads. Unless there is a sportsball event on, you rarely can flip channels and not run into another ad. The ads are coordinated. There is no escape.
I may try OTA Digital Antenna instead and hope I get decent signal.

I hid boosts long ago because they became redundant. The same post was getting boosted.
The software has no way of knowing if you already read the original post.
About 60% of my timeline is boosts.
In about 12 hours, I will have around 1K new items in my TL. So, about 600 of them will be boosts. WIll I go thru 400 actual posts before more start arriving? Not.
I know I will miss posts. I just hope that if the subject matter is important, that it will come up again. If it does not, maybe it was not that important after all.
But, I know I miss posts every day.
