This may just finally torpedo the whole case. Which even without the USSC ruling was on shaky ground.
Some big name jew lawyer (Can't think of his name right now. I think he had taken trips to Epstein Island) claimed in an interview he witnessed several reversible errors on the part of Merchan while watching the trial.
Going to be *very* interesting couple of months.

I looked at Canik Not an awful gun. I was a hard core hammer fired gun guy. This Walther sold me. I am not exaggerating. The best damn factory trigger.
I was carrying a CZ P-07 until something broke in the fire control mechanism. Sent it back to CZ. Fixed no cost to me. But now I could not trust it.
New EDC hunt was on. Walther won. October of 2013. EDC since.

That's exactly what I did on the two W11 machines I run the CAD and lasers from.
Just unplug the Ethernet or disable the network adapter during user setup.
I'm a Mac and Linux guy. Only have win on two machines. There may be an easier way. But this worked for me.

I'm overindulging on some good whiskey.
I've been sweating bullets when our "big" laser broke. $700 worth of parts later. Still broke.
No idea what I changed this evening but now the machine works. Better than new even.
The stress is flowing out of my fingertips. Tomorrow I will recheck the alignment and get back to work. I have orders to fill.
I've been pooping bricks over this $7000 machine being down and out of warranty.

My handwriting has always been atrocious. We were taught cursive when I was in grade school.
Even being forced into after school penmanship sessions could not fix my handwriting. Admittedly I was a lazy and stubborn kid.
Now the arthritis in my hands prevents me from holding an actual pen for very long.

This. All. Of. This.
Not long ago I saw a copy of an early 20th century high school final exam. I'm a retard but not stupid. I had a hard time answering some of the questions. Even with the benefit of being old/experienced.
We are indeed dumbing down. And the reason may be fairly simple.

The older copper stuff is outside my arena at work. As such I don't have a super deep knowledge set for it. I would expect you can prolly get a used business PBX and phones for under 5K. The expense will be running the copper.

2024-06-08 18:57:32 GMT

- reply

Also, you bring up a good point. It used to be copper POTS phone service would usually still work in a power failure etc.
Now that almost everything is digital and everybody is cheap as hell I see phones as not reliable going forward.

2024-06-08 16:28:08 GMT

- reply

Sigh. Fren, I work in the industry. Landline != POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) copper anymore. Landlines can be delivered over any physical media to include copper, fiber, cable networks etc.
Everything is tappable. Warrant or not.
If you have Internet and phone via the same provider/connection chances are it's already digital. Even over copper.
If you are longing for the days of having a copper wired POTS phone line, yea, that's slowly going away.

2024-06-08 16:19:00 GMT

- reply

>All landline are abolished.
Fren this is 100% untrue. There are efforts to shut down copper phone networks in favor of fiber optics, but "landlines" still exist and will continue to be delivered as a VOIP service over cable and fiber networks.

2024-06-08 15:39:45 GMT

While humorous it's not untrue either.
The Ruskie 7.62 Tokarev was a fast 30 cal FMJ pill for a reason. They wanted a handgun round that would be able to penetrate the 'great coat' as often worn in winter by Slavic armies.
Small fast pills defeat blubber, er I mean armor. Tim at Military Arms Channel made a video featuring the 7.52 TOK round vs some brand of Level 3 plate armor. I sent him the Bulgarian surplus ammo used in the test. It obliterated that L3 armor.
