The 4 minute rule sounds like an expert version of the 1 minute rule that I (sometimes) use. I'll see if I can muster the courage to try your "just do it" life hack.
Free will is an interesting topic. The fact you're deciding to steer yourself... Are you deciding to do that or was that decision pre-determined.
I watched this beautifully created video the other day, the maker mentions free will a couple of times, he thinks it's somehow related to fractals (the video is about an analogue fractal machine he created, and the soundtrack is gorgeous too) https://youtu.be/koDCabeh5kQ

Found it a bit under-whelming to be honest. Good for teams wanting to dip their toes into strange worlds, perhaps.
If it used Nostr for transport (or even FIPS...) then it would be a lot more interesting since the "relay" could run anywhere and be accessible without opening ports, even from the mobile app.
I don't get what it uses Nostr for besides the identities.
When dormant it also causes a flurry of CPU activity on my server every minute or so.
A bit of fun to play with, it has a clean interface, it formalises OpenClaw style working a bit too I suppose.
Will be interested what the general public make of it in the coming months.

GM. Been building an open source auditable voting system that uses Nostr for the transport layer and blind signed ballots (a la Cashu) for anonymous voting. It was used last Monday for the first time in a real democratic process, a Green Party AGM in London. How do you do it?
I vibed a remote to OpenCode that operates over Nostr DMs. Small Rust worker on my devbox and an android app.
It works quite well when working on multiple repos simultaneously, has voice to text built in so I can talk or type (encrypted audio blobs sent over blossom), then it speaks the response back.
Still tuning it and adding features, but already it's allowed me to do actual work anywhere I have my phone.

In the UK until now it's made more financial sense to buy batteries to charge using cheaper overnight electricity then use in the daytime when prices are higher.
The return on investment of solar is worse than the batteries alone.

Also I've started to see the phrase "local-first software", which I guess is kinda like sourcing food locally but for digital services. So servers and data are hosted by regions for local residents. Like distributed intranets.

Nostr clients could implement a filter for bots, some opt in thing where bots indicate they're AI using kind 1 data so it's easier to filter their responses out if chosen.
If a bot pretends to be human then they'll just be dealt with like reply guys and blocked.
Nostr can still be human-first 😊

Michael Saylor.
It's quite good once you get past the cringe (also about 2/3 of the way through) because Saylor is explaining how buying Bitcoin can help almost every business offer a better service, basically by offsetting the cost of their operations via 30% annual Bitcoin gains.
For example an insurer could offer lower premiums.
