Damn man… while Terry Bollea turned out to be a terrible person, #HulkHogan was a legend in professional wrestling and the #WWE. He’s one of the main reasons I got into it in the first place and I can still remember vivid memories of #Hulkamania running wild back in the 80s and early 90s.
It’s a catch 22 because I feel little for him as a person and his actions outside of the ring, but a massive part of my childhood was lost today.
That’s two big icons from my youth gone this week. Death comes in threes and I’m not sure who’s next on the list.

I finally got the last spot filled on the inside of my arm to fully finish my sleeve. It was like 99% of the way done but that one little spot stuck out like a sore thumb.
That’s pretty much my last non painful spot left outside of my back which is going to be a full on back piece. But otherwise it’s like hands, knees, stomach, and a bit on one side.

What did I do with my day off from software development? I wrote some python to search my plex, find all of the videos that are missing subtitles, input that into a local container of subsai and have it generating fresh subtitles for me.
It’ll be a huge quality of life improvement even if they are hilariously inaccurate at times. Especially those that I’m having translated from foreign languages to English.

Called it. Not only was it a disappointment of an ending, it failed to live up to any expectation of being the final book in the series. Not trilogy/quadrilogy, series… I feel like Terry Brooks let his fans down with The Fall of Shannara series. There was no fall. There was no triumphant ending to the novel or set. It ended basically like the last 3 sets did all tied up neatly in a bow and ready for the next book to pick up where it left off. If someone told me there was another book coming after it, I’d say yeah that tracks because it feels unfinished.
To be fair, the last 3 sets were as cookie cutter as it can be so I guess that one is on me. I would have just expected something a little more after reading 32 books.
Oh well, on to the next book in my reading backlog mountain.
