There’s no trick-or-treating like city trick-or-treating. Street closed from 5-9, a hundred kids just running around having fun. Dozens and dozens of houses giving out candy. Neighbors waving and saying hi as they pass, and parents stopping for conversations while their young kids play because they don’t have to be eagle-eyed for vehicles every single second.
This is what our streets were like before cars. I wish we could have that the other 364 days of the year.
